When we walked in, nobody was up front. When we went to the counter, everyone just kind of stared at us or they hid around the corner. They proceeded to point at us and say “who’s going to take their order?” Which was met with a lot of “well that’s not really my job” or “I did the last one”. That lasted for a few minutes. Till they finally brought someone from the back who was STONED out of their mind. Every time Jesse took our order, he looked confused. Gave us the wrong order twice. Sarah the manager was just yelling at employees the whole time. When another couple came in, the employees started playing the “who’s going to take their order” game again and Sarah stood at the front of the counter and said “Well it’s not my job, I’m the manager” while proceeding to point at the couple, and walked away from the counter, not even telling the couple someone would assist them soon.
Shortly after this, I ordered Ghost Pepper Fries, Jesse rang me up for Queso Fries. Before the order was even paid for, Sarah, the manager, had put queso and cold cheese on my fries and handed them over the counter. I brought them to the table thinking the sauce just looked different, tried it, then inevitably brought them back. When I said “hey, sorry but I ordered ghost pepper fries, not this”, Sarah proceeded to huff at me, turn the screen around and say “well he wrote you up for queso fries, so what do you want me to do?” When I answered “well, I would like what I ordered please” she then shook her head, huffed again, aggressively scooped up fries, put them in a box, DROWNED the fries in sauce and just plopped the box of fries down on the counter. Me not trying to be rude, I asked “what would you like me to do with these queso fries?” To which she then PUSHES them back at me and says “I can’t take them so whatever you want I guess” then walks away.
At the very end of this, I asked for a receipt so I could write a corporate review. When I asked Jesse for my receipt, he just looked at me super confused then said “ummmmmmm, man I don’t know. What do you need again?” So I asked again and he just shook his said and said “Sarah, can you? I don’t know” as if he couldn’t even get his thoughts together well enough to ask the question. Sarah then marched over, glared at him the whole time and was muttering, printed my receipt and never made eye contact with me till I said “sorry, what was your name?” She broke eye contact, said “Sarah” to my face then marched off.
I’ve been to this Wendy’s numerous times through the drive thru. It’s a very slow drive thru but I always assumed that was because of the Wendy’s “fries are always fresh” policy. I’ve never gone in though and experienced what it was like on the other side. Flies everywhere, nasty bathrooms, trash all over the dining room, no Front Of House presence.
Safe to assume that my family and I will not be returning. And that sucks because we really enjoyed this place when we needed something quick...
Read moreGot off of work late, didn't want to go home and cook, just wanted a good ol Wendy's spicy chicken caesar salad, half-size. I got to the second window paid for my food, and of course when handed my salad checked to make sure it was the correct order... It was missing the chicken and she gave me a ranch dressing to go with my CAESAR SALAD. I respectfully told the lady that there was a mistake she immediately proceeded to argue with me telling me she "heard what i said and gave me what i ordered". I tried calming the lady down letting her know I will pay the difference, mistakes happen, no worries. She appeared to get even more angry as if I was being unreasonable and should just take what she gave me, and started blurting at me in spanish. Just so happen that my Mexican-American lady friend was in the passenger seat. Apparently she called me a few names and "babosa" or something like that, according to my lady friend what she said translated that i was trying to manipulate her. My lady friend took over they exchanged a few words in spanish. My lady friend said that every thing was worked out, that she will let me pay the difference, and get what I originally ordered. After giving her the difference she added a half piece of chicken and got me the right dressing. When handing me the order she rolled her eyes at me and gave me a gaze that could kill a giraffe from a distance. Than pretty much threw my salad into my car window. I didn't even eat the food in fear that the unreasonable woman at the window may have done something shady to it. the following week I found myself in the same predicament, off work late and not wanting to cook. Late most convenient restaurants open at that time of night was McD and Wendy's. Of course Wendy's was the obvious choice. I had my order taken by the same lady I had issues with the week before.. So far so good, her order taking skills were fast and accurate. I get up to the window pay the lady, who I see recognizes me from the expression on her face. When she hands me my money back I ask her how her day is going... She pretended to not speak English!!! I asked to speak with a manager, she brings me the cook... I over look that and simply ask the man was there any other women taking orders, he told me "no, she is the only girl working here tonight". So I asked him to refund my money, he went to go get the real manager. The manager asked him what was wrong the young man said he did not know the manager had me pull up and told me he would bring my refund right out. He did just that. Moral of the story is now every time I go to Wendy's and see that woman I refuse to give that specific Wendy's my business....
Read moreI waited for about 4-5min before I seen an employee. I was not greeted in any way. They had no small cups so I had to pay for an up-size for my toddler. The ice machine was broken so the employee had to give me ice. The drinks of course were flat due to no ice in the machine they disperse from. (Gotta have ice for the carbonation to properly work) The tables were pretty much all dirty. My fries were very soggy and grease logged. They tasted of old burnt oil. I ordered the promotional "ghost pepper chicken sandwich " the chicken was hard on the edges and dripping with way too much sauce making the bread extremely soggy. They definitely stage their chicken patties. (Meaning they fry them in advance and let them sit until ordered). My daughter's burger was super dry old meat and stale bun. I typically love Wendy's as they usually stand by their motto "quality is our recipe". Apparently this location didn't receive the recipe.. I will never go back to this location due to the ball being dropped on every single item I bought and the lack of any care. This is more so a poor management and owner thing as employees don't control fixing things or ordering and management is either not paying any attention at all or there...
