Dairy Queen (Treat & Ice Cream) — Restaurant in Springettsbury Township

While I have quite the affinity for ice cream, I think this is one of the worst Dairy Queen setups I've ever seen. First off, the lobby is small and awkwardly shaped. Normally they take orders and hand out the ice cream on the same side of the lobby, which puts a whole bunch of people way too close together. (In covid times, maybe two sets of people could safely stand in the at the same time.) My second complaint is the smell of the place. It smells like there's an SPCA underneath the ordering area every single time. Third is that there is no drive through option, so you can't avoid the first two issues.

I will say that they recently started taking orders at the one side of the lobby and handing them out at the other side- for covid reasons. This is something they should continue to do because it keeps one direction of traffic and makes for a better use of space. Other than that, the employees seem to be pretty decent, and the ice...

DONT USE GIFT CARDS AT THIS LOCATION!!! Went 2 times and had issues. 1st time my child got $10 gift cards for christmas we called the card before going they both had $10 on it when we went to use them we were told we only had $5 on each. Then last weekend we went again and we had $25 gift card and the guy said it wasnt going thru. I know there was $25 on it because we called it while sitting in the parking lot before going in. So we paid cash $14, today I just checked the card and I only have $11 on it now. So last weekend we paid double. Very upsetting $28 for 3 medium...

Iv been going to this DQ for decades and never had bad service or any issues..... until tonight, I'm going to assume it is under new management because the service was horrible and the kids they have working are disrespectful. We all know COVID has been a thing for over a year right?..... now 14 months after "restorations" were put in place they decided to limit there occupancy to 10 people (including staff), they Hurd everyone to the back door where you can't stand 6 ft apart if you wanted to and they no longer have cherries... of all things why cherriesdo they...
