I'm beyond annoyed with Taylor Chip. I ordered cookies from their website for delivery last Saturday. I ordered them online before 7:45 PM. I receive a call from the store at 8:03 PM, and I was told they are not going to deliver my cookies due to the store closing. They asked me to cancel my order. I told them I do not know how to do that on my end. Taylor Chip partners with DoorDash, so they told me they would call DoorDash support to handle it. I also called DoorDash that night to see if they could help me, and they told me it's up to the merchant to refund me. DoorDash never picked up the order, so DoorDash did not receive any money from Taylor Chip; therefore, it is a Taylor Chip problem. I called Taylor Chip back and left them two voicemails requesting a call back when they are open. It is currently Monday evening, and I still have not received a refund to my credit card or received a call back from the store. The way the staff handled this situation was extremely disappointing and could have been avoided if they ended online orders before a certain time. I included a picture to show my order was never delivered and was not cancelled. Also, my order confirmation says if I needed to cancel my order to call the store, so I don't know why they called me expecting me to cancel it on my end. In all, Taylor Chip does not value their customers, and I do not recommend spending your money here. Luckily, I can dispute my charge with my credit card company and get my...
Read moreI'm a Crumbl fan and heard about this place from my bestie, so decided to give them a try. I must say they do not live up to Crumbl and I will not be changing my cookie store preference. Upon entry into the store, I noticed the cookies were on the side of the counter, and there was no signage as to what the cookie was. You have to walk around to the front of the counter to try to read the menu and see the flavors. This was very annoying and the staff was not much help. She just kind of stood there behind the glass waiting for us to ask which was which. The glass is tall too so we couldn't even see her face unless she bent down. This is a bad first impression for a cookie store. You need to put labels on all the cookies in the case. Now, let's talk about price. I can get a 4 pack of cookies from Crumbl for $15.60 and it was $18.00 at Taylor Chip. This is a big price difference for cookies that lack substance. While Taylor Chip has good cookies, they are nothing special. They're cookies that are the kind of cookies you can make at home. There is no wow factor or anything making them special. Icing, topping, fillings, etc, they're all basic kitchen cookies anyone can make. I won't be returning unless the cookies are improved. If you want to compete with Crumbl, you better...
Read moreI have been reading about Taylor Chips for at least a year and a half. I have been dying to try their chocolate chip cookie. Well I finally found Taylor Chips across from Home Depot East in York. I was super excited to FINALLY try a cookie. The store is super clean, and the staff was very helpful explaining each of the cookies they had to offer. I decided to get the chocolate chip ( I think all the cookies they had were “stuffed”, but not sure). The cookie was huge, extremely chocolatey and gooey. The first bite sent shocks of flavor blasts to my brain… I registered the gooey very chocolatey kinda doughy flavor immediately… but soon after became too much for me. So it is not my kind of cookie, maybe they have a normal chocolate chip cookie 🍪, and I will try it. But what I had was just too much for me. But if you are looking for a sensory overload, then this might just be the...
