Memory Lane Pizza — Restaurant in Springettsbury Township

I eat here from time-to-time and this review reflects my last visit there.

I really wanted a couple slices of cheese pizza but the slice cheese pizza in the display case looked old and dried-out and very over baked, boarding on the burnt side. I refuse to spend good money for burnt dried-up pizza so I guess that is why a whole pie was in the display case and still there when I left; and they were busy during that time…

The wife and I shared most of the food we ordered. Ordered a Tuna Boat and it was just amazing, not only in taste but looks too. Plenty of tuna, cheese melted to perfection, outstanding roll; what more could you ask for. I truly believe they make the best Tuna Boat in York County; it’s that good in my opinion. They serve frozen French-fries cooked to perfection; I still believe frozen fries are better than fresh cut, my opinion!

I had the Chicken Parm and it was pretty good although I wish they used a different sauce; the sauce seems no different than used on their pizzas.

The wife had the Chicken Alfredo which she did not care for. She said the sauce was missing something and very little sauce on the plate and throughout the chicken and pasta. I tasted it and did not taste all that good, no Alfredo taste to it…

All-in-all a very clean, friendly place to eat and the prices are about average for this type of eating establishment.

On the down side, they only have one shared bathroom which my wife...

The good: I was looking thru Grubhub last night when an image of one their pies caught my eye. It reminded me of New York style pizza. I usually do Jim and Nenas’ but decided to give someone else a chance. I ordered a large cheese pie, jumbo wings and a shrimp basket. +Good presentation +Fair prices +Faster than expected delivery

The Bad: The pizza was slightly burnt, which is normal to see dark marks on a pizza, but it actually TASTED burnt. The wings were a good size and portion but were a bit tough and overcooked. If they had been more tender that would’ve been great. The bbq sauce was meh.

The Ugly: The shrimp on the other hand was very disappointing. First, they were the tiny shrimp. If you’re gonna do shrimp, AT LEAST do regular/medium sized shrimp. The batter was boring and flavorless and they WEREN’T EVEN DE-VEINED. The fries were okay, nothing to call home about.

All in all I was disappointed and won’t be ordering from there again. Maybe it was an off-night, idk. But that’s why when food is your business, you make it out of this world so people WANT to come back or order again. It doesn’t take much to do that either. Taste your food and get chefs or cooks that actually take pride...

The WORST customer service I have EVER had. My employees and I always go here once every two weeks for lunch, spending roughly 30-40 at least, let's just say they have lost all our business. My sub was wrong and when I called to tell them about it i was told "What do you want me to do about it" in a rude voice. I work in customer service and to be spoken to in such a way was unrealistic. EVERY time I have gone in there, there is one woman who is very rude in person and on the phone, lucky me I got to speak to her. After being given the worst customer service, I called back and asked to speak to a manager. The manager, once again asks me what I want him to do about it. ARE YOU SERIOUS!? How how are these people? 30-40 and acting like 13-14. He then tells me that he was standing next to her when I called and that I never told them what was wrong. I had to inform the "manager" that I DID tell them what was wrong and also that I had two other people with me who heard the conversation. Needless to say, WORST customer service, my sub was wrong AND burnt and nasty employees. Stay away from this location if you actually want to eat your food and not have to...
