Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Springfield Township

Normally the food isn't bad, but this time wasn't normal. I don't mind waiting a few minutes for fresh food to come out of the oven, but I had to wait 30 minutes AFTER the due time amongst several other people who were doing the same. Their reason was that everyone ordered at the same time and they were trying to catch up.

When I got home, the wings we ordered (which they made as I was ready to walk out the door) were fresh, hot and good. The pizzas we ordered were not so fortunate. They were a mild temperature at best, enough I would have considered heating up if I weren't so hungry. As a result, the pizza tasted bland. You could tell it had been sitting for some time, but who knows how long. It couldn't have been put in a heat warmer though from how cold it was.

The service wasn't bad, to me at least. They were busy, and it was Friday night. It's one thing to wait a few minutes, but the lady on their register didn't seem to know all 100% of what she was doing. Aside from that, the manager was apologetic for the wait and gave a credit for a future order.

On a typical day, their food isn't bad and the service is decent. Unfortunately today wasn't like that. I'm giving them a 2 at best right now, but will continue to order due to their decent coupons and normally decent service. It is the restaurant industry, so things do happen.

Don't blame them or get frustrated with them because their wait was longer than expected or your food wasn't the best. Mistakes happen, but they are just regular people like you and I. Give them a chance, share a smile when you pick up your food, and make the most of your day. If you want 5* quality, go to a 5* restaurant. I ordered a pizza and wings the other day, and once I realized it was storming I felt bad. I try to be considerate of food service workers as I worked in the service for years. When I called management he wasent rude at all. The reason I called was because I ordered at 740, I got a notification that it was out for delivery at 810, I didn’t receive my food till about 855. For clarification i live about 3 miles away, drive could be 10-15 mins. The delivery driver was nice. The reason I’m giving it two stars is because, I don’t know why it took so long but my food was not hot. The wings were a bit soggy but still warm, and the pizza box had dented in so when I opened the box the pizza was stuck to the lid. And since it was no longer hot the cheese had begun to solidify. I tried to just let it go bwcause like I said I’ve worked in service and I get it ya know but I could only eat about 3 of my wings and i had one slice of the pizza because as it was not very good. Service in terms of communication everyone was respectful. I was just sad about my food. I don’t usually order out but my son is such a butt I never get to eat until late at night and I just wanted something quick to eat so I didn’t have to fight him...

I've had one good experience here. More often than not I get a call saying that they are out of something or that it will be a 2 + hour wait on delivery. This is the only location I've had issues with, not sure if it is poor management or if the owners just dont care anymore. I've ordered from both PH and Dominos (moments after one another) and Dominos never fails. Too bad they dont carry Pepsi products. 19AUG2025 Update. Decided to order tonight, because my kiddo wanted stuffed crust and it's been a long while since I've tried them. DoorDash assigned a delivery driver, who sent a picture message, of a railroad crossing 5 minutes away (walking), stating they were waiting on the train to pass. Dude NEVER showed up. Called the store, manager tried saying that the driver left "10 minutes ago" when I had a picture message from 10 minutes before the "10 minutes ago". Store manager tried to rectify the situation, but FFS, is that property under a curse or something? I order from other Pizza Huts when I'm at work/able to go there and pick up, and they rarely mess up the order. This place is a never fail to...
