I keep hoping this place improves but it just isn’t happening. I have had a few experiences of ordering with the app and a couple different scenarios take place.
First off everyone is aware of how busy starbucks gets and we accept that by allowing extra time. Yet today was the worst experience I've had with the starbucks company. I ordered around 1030am which the app informed me it would be ready at 1047am. My family and I left home and reached starbucks at 1049am at which time my food part was ready but my drink was not. Standing, waiting and watching. So many people waiting for mobile orders, after five minutes I asked the batista about my order which she says it will still be twn minutes so I thanked her and continued waiting and during this time SEVEN mobile order customer cancel their orders due to how long the wait is going to be. You would think the mobile orders would move a little quicker but they did not. After another 15 minutes after I asked first I asked again at which time she looks and looks and looks and tells me they already made it and I said you haven't handed one drink to anyone named Samantha in the 30 minutes I have been waiting. So they quickly make my drink at which time my sandwich was cold from how long I had waited for my drink. Read moreI’ll start with: the baristas at this location are extremely friendly, patient (kinda have to be with the amount of traffic accommodated) & they make the drinks well. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make-up for the fact that this franchise has become extremely unreliable as well as unprofessional since the pandemic. If you’re running behind and think to utilize their mobile order pick up... just don’t lol. It doesn’t really matter ~50% of the time bc you’ll have to wait in the drive-threw ordering line to pick up due to the fact that their lobby is closed. Closing the store / lobby due to COVID-19 cases is completely understandable. What is not acceptable is having 0 consistency in hours AND not updating your platforms to give consumers any indication of what exactly is going on.
