IHOP — Restaurant in Springfield Township

Just don't do it. It's not that our waitress (waitress A) passed us off. (I know it happens. ) Its more so that the waitress we did get (waitress B) repeated our order. And I made sure that mine was repeated yet once more to leave sour cream off. We wait a bit long and she (B) comes with an order. Sets it down then switches sides on the plates. She smiles and goes to get our sides. Comes back a few minutes later and says our sides are just about up. Only problem is the order that was given to us was not ours. She apologized and re takes our order. Once again I ask no sour cream. Our order is up after about 10 minutes mine (you guessed it)extra sour cream. She says, "ya I seen them put it on but it was to late." On the plus side we where able to get A refill the hour and a half we spent there. I'm not going to get into waitress A's kids running all over the place at times it was comical then it was annoying. Waitress B did take things off our order but it was a terrible experience. I'm sure no one cares that I will not go back. (No one cared that an employee's kids where running all over the place.) I would've and should've went somewhere else. A substantial length of time was already invested and we didn't have many more options heading out of town. Your experience maybe better it couldn't...

Went to breakfast/lunch with our group after leaving Inkcarceration on Monday. Orders were taken and we waited a while for drinks. There was 9 of us so we expected it to take a bit. We asked for creamer for the coffee, and the waitress went to get it but decided to take her break first. 20 mins later the creamer finally came.

Food starts coming out. Now generally when a side salad is ordered it is brought out before the entrees. That didn't happen. Most of our food was cold. You could tell it was sitting for a bit. My Philly Sandwhich the steak was cold, and the cheese wasn't even melted, for example. We were all traveling 8-12 hours and didn't want to wait for new food as that had already taken a bit. Then to top it off, my side salad finally arrived after we were all pretty much done and asking for to-go boxes. At that point I wasn't going to even bother trying to rush to eat it. The lettuce was so sopping with water from bring rinsed that there was a Puddle in the bottom of the bowl.

Again we didn't have time to wait to have things fixed, nor did we want microwaved food.

We did call ahead to make sure they could accommodate us.

I was truly dissapointed un the service, and the cold food. After camping for a week, we really were craving a good hot meal, that we didn't have to...

We decided to come here for a quick and small meal. There were four of us, we got two meals and split it between all of us. My fiance wanted Swiss cheese on her patty melt. It took a long time to get to us and then it didn't have the right cheese. I went and told the waitress and she said she'd get it taken care of. When I waved her down 30 minutes later she asked if we were ready for the bill. She completely forgot to put in the fix. It took long enough when the manager saw just how long it was and realized I wasn't exaggerating he was super apologetic.

The manager came out and he did what he could to make it right, which is why this is a three star and not a one star review. Because the management made it better we'll be back, if the service is better I'll update the rating.

Edit: We were told 10 minutes for seating. It took over thirty until we asked why it was taking so long. The guy had crossed us out skipped us. He said he called our name but we were constantly listening, we heard the name of every other party that was called clearly. Then food took over 30 minutes as well and came out wrong.

The waitress was polite and respectful but with this being the second visit this poor it's staying at a one star until this isn't a...
