Best of Luck is a place that I should have gotten to before, but my evening shifts limit the amount of energy I have to deal with people during their prime operating hours. Fortunately for me, they're open for lunch. I picked from their Two Outta Three menu, which on Thursday includes a tomato soup with fennel, a ham and provolone melt with rosemary, and a chicken Cobb salad (not pictured, since I picked the first two). As grilled cheese meals go, this is a pretty good one. The tomato soup is hearty and delicately flavored, with an appealing orange shade. The sandwich isn't fancy, but the ham on the sandwich has been grilled separately and that gives the inside of the sandwich a pleasant crunchiness. To match them, I picked Punch #4, a bitter lemony concoction with fresh nutmeg grated on top.
The flavors and constituents of each dish are less dramatic than I would use if I had my druthers, but the execution is solid and everything harmonizes. Simple...

Thirty or so taps with a full bar. Beers are served at different temperatures according to their styles, and they have lots of local options.
The food was amazing! The Fried Chicken sandwich had Korean Chili Aoli and Kimchi Slaw that provided a nice tangy edge to counter the richness of the fried chicken, and the crispy brussel sprouts were just that - wonderfully crisp with a brown sugar/maple glaze. I could have a meal off of those alone!
We saw other things on the menu that we want to try next time (buffalo cauliflower wings and the loaded fries with gochujang) but I might just have to get 3-4 orders of the brussel sprouts - I'd be a happy man!!
Give them a try next evening you find...
ย ย ย Read moreThe menu is very versatile with something for everyone, from vegans to loaded fry enthusiasts, they cater to everyone. Most of their drinks are serve with actual STRAW instead of straws, making them more eco-friendly towards the environment. Their brunch menu has a great twist on the normal fair, by serving a breakfast bratwurst with French style soft scrambled eggs, topped with melty cheese and chives, but their twist on waffles bring a dramatic twist to the very breakfast world. Their housemade kimchee waffle topped with crispy chicken and Asian slaw is the perfect blend of Belgium waffle/ Korean soul food, and impressive pub ingenuity. You can enjoy one of the largest available/diverse draft selections in Springfield. They also boast classic arcade games, ski ball, and an indoor corn hole turf. I also recommend their house deviled eggs that...
