Our Winter Special is here! Minneapolis’ popular burger style the Jui(i)cy Lucy and an order of our hand cut fries for $8.77 #springfieldmo #foodie #417 #burger #burgers #dinersdriveinsanddives

Great staff, clean kitchen, good food! Good people. I’ve gotta give a little criticism, especially as a sammie enthusiast and prior maker. I grew up in house to a deli and bread makers. There’s just not enough meat in these sandwiches. The bread is decent, especially if you’re making a steak sandwich, but it just doesn’t get me there. I only posted a pic of the Half Baked Mario but you can see the shortage. I think I was mostly disappointed by that Hightower for being so short but I didn’t snap a pic. Understandably, there’s specifics with meat to bread ratios, times are tight, and people do things their way, respectfully. Still, I spent $50 on 3 sammies (I tipped an additional %15), all incredible concepts. I paid $15 for the the Highwood (double meat, double cheese, etc), this was not the case and had the same minimal standard. Core secrets to a Sammie are the bread and the core serving portion (the meats baby). You guys run a great place, great concepts as I said, but if you just make the sacrifice and give a SOLID steak sandwich, I promise you’ll flourish. I’d been wanting to visit for a long time and glad I did. I hope you can squeeze the changes because I they’d be monumental. I’d just rather make my own for the dollar. Service was outstanding and thanks for the grub. Keep crushing guys!

This place was great! I got their "Yo Adrian" cheesesteak and it was the best I've had outside of Philly itself! Good portion and the grilled onions were done perfectly! I'll be coming back for this again and again. With that I had their salt and vinegar fries which had just the right amount of vinegar and hit the mark for me. I also grabbed their Saturday special, "The half-baked Mario" for tomorrow and if it's half as good as the cheesesteak, it'll be amazing! Cool little spot, wedges between 2 great Springfield bars, and the woman that took my order was very nice, I highly recommend checking this place out.

This is a great place that is easy to overlook because it's tiny and sandwiched between shops downtown. This place makes an amazing cheese steak sandwich. This is the only place in Springfield that reminds me of the quality I used to get back home in Massachusetts. I got the Chicago which has mayo, american cheese, shaved steak, lettuce and tomato. All of the veggies were very fresh and the shaved steak was amazing quality. If you want more than a slight amount of mayo you have to ask. I don't like a ton of mayo but it was slight even to me. Others have told me they had the same experience. The bread they use is high quality and better than anyone else in the city I have tried so far as well. This is more of a take out or delivery option. The place is REALLY small inside with only 3 or 4 places to sit so take this into consideration. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It will leave you wanting more. (Update 10/04/2017) I went in and tried the cat fish and it was just ok. Quality of the veggies and everything else was great but the actual cat fish was average at best. Downgrading from 5 stars to 4 stars. Also note that I got the cat fish from the location on Battlefield Rd instead of the location on Walnut St. where I...

Ordered delivery from here yesterday and as some other reviews state, the meat is lacking. I ordered the salad that was supposed to contain Turkey, Pepperoni, and Prosciutto. I was a few blocks away from the address, but the delivery time was supposed to be 45minutes. I was in no hurry and wanted to try it out so I placed my order. Around 20minutes after the scheduled arrival, I was considering calling the establishment. 5 minutes later I got a text stated someone was on the way. Ended up getting my food an hour and 20minutes after the initial order. I figured they were a small business that needed the time, but was excited for my meal. The salad was missing pepperoni and prosciutto and contained what I can only consider a sample of cheap turkey deli meat. I attempted to prevail and the salad was bland and tasteless even with added salt and pepper on top of the dressing provided. I love salads. I eat salads almost everywhere I go, but I would not order another salad...
