Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Springfield

Walked in, the juveniles behind the counter yell hello to you, get to the counter and worker (short chunky female) signing off shift using foul language and showing off. Boy takes my order, acts uninterested, tables are a mess and pepper is mixed in the salt shakers at tables. Food lukewarm, small serving of fries that were not even close to lukewarm. The food is way overpriced. Finished eating and went to my vehicle to eat an overpriced tiny junior ice cream cone. Sat in my vehicle and could see straight in front doors. Could see workers running through restaurant since no customers inside. Looked like playtime in a nursery school. The place is overrun with kids working there and probably a kid playing manager. Not a pleasant dining experience. Get mature workers that will work, take their work seriously and not play around. Plus, why the expensive prices? Won't be back here anytime soon. Not the restaurant it...

I went to Braum's waited in line for about 3 or 4 minutes before we got up to the speaker box to get my order taken I ordered a burger apparently I can't get this burger with no cheese and different toppings on it I ordered the number 13 and I wanted it with no cheese I get it and it's wrong after I waited 15 minutes in the Drive-Thru to get it and then I go into the store and wait another 5 minutes in the line the lady was rude with me and told me that I couldn't get that burger with no cheese and with toppings it wasn't allowed I had to order a whole different Burger then when I asked her if I could get my money back or a different burger if he got really rude with me and then went and made the burger this was the lady that was actually making the ice cream with the glasses so little girl at the front counter with a choker was really nice and sweet not a good experience I won't be back...

What can I say about bra's... oh wait the lights are just out sorry... Braum's! Jokes aside contine reading.

I did not know what to say the first time I came in. The place gives a feel of an old ice cream shop and I love it. The people here are really nice, and the food is beyond affordable, like back in the days my grandma used to tell me of old shops where ice cream was a quarter. Now do not get me wrong, this place is not that cheap, but it is cheaper than mcdonalds and steak n shake and you walk away with more for a cheaper price with better tasting food. Why this place has not gotten headlines and bigger is beyond me, need this in Indianapolis. If this place gets bigger and better, please do not lose your way like most of these places cutting corners, cheaply made food, and lazy workers. I am not rich but I would be happy to invest...
