My daughter and I placed an order of two iced coffee, one coconut cream and other brûlée cream at around 2:35. We were in second in the line, it was basically empty then people with kids starting coming in. My guess was that school just was out at around that time. At 3pm I came up to the counter using gestures as I am deaf, I told them in gesture, time?? Where’s our drinks? The woman employee wouldn’t look me in the eye so I typed on my phone explaining to her that we had 3pm meeting that we have to attend to and asked for our drinks. The lady wouldn’t take the time to read my message. She was the only worker there. People after us got their orders before we did. I finally got our drinks at 3:10pm!! Other places I went to tend to take 5 to 10 minutes, not 33 minutes!!!That’s so unacceptable. I’m very disappointed in their service and it’s not deaf-friendly there!! My coconut cream drink tasted of too much chocolate which I wasn’t too crazy about. My daughter cream brûlée iced coffee was basically cream brûlée frappe mixed in with coffee and my daughter wasn’t crazy of frapp types. She basically threw it away after few sips. The menu could use some more description in each drinks, what is added to each drinks etc. we had no idea what were in those boba drinks. I don’t think we will return and wish I got my money back.. Sigh. They need to be more prepared during...
Read moreFantastic Boba Cafe! This place has a fantastic atmosphere, lots of things to try on the menu, and friendly staff!
Went here on Saturday at 11:30am. The place was kind of empty but by the time we left at 12:30 it was getting filled up! There are a lot of menu options and the only thing they didn't have ready yet was the Banh Mi but it was still their soft open and plus I'm here for the Boba!
The menu, milk tea, cheese foam, fruit tea, coffee, sparkling juice, snacks, and sweet dessert! We got a winter melon black tea and peach cheese. They had sugar level but forgot to choose on so got default levels. The teas were amazing! Amazing flavor and many boba options. Will be coming back to try other flavors.
We got some snacks. Popcorn chicken and fries with cheese seasoning. The food was very tasty but also for their prices, there was a lot of food. Again, they didn't have the sandwiches but will be back for that.
The staff was very kind and helpful to any questions we had.
As for pricing, it was all well priced most things around the $6-$8 range.
All in all this place is really well priced with very good flavor in their boba and snacks. Have enough room for people to sit and enjoy their drink/food before heading out. We will be coming back to continue to try all their different...
Read moreI ordered the Vietnamese coffee and the taro boba. Firstly, I rate the service a 2 stars, they didn’t specify which Vietnamese coffee I wanted. The staff were not kind and didn’t say anything. There were also no options for the sweetness levels of the drink, this is something that every boba place usually has, and although it isn’t related to the service, this store is one of the few that doesn’t have it, or I wasn’t aware had it due to nobody asking. I’ve tried boba in the big cities like Chicago, New York, Philly, etc. Springfield doesn’t have options for boba but this is the worst one they do have. the Vietnamese coffee had too much condensed milk and ice, and not enough coffee. The coffee also didn’t taste fresh. For example, if you go to hong yen the Vietnamese coffee there is more authentic. The taro boba was horrible, I’ve tried the taro boba at several different boba places across the United States and this is the worst. I don’t want to write a negative review especially to a small business but I was not satisfied and would not reccomend it. If you want better boba then I suggest Societea, although this place has much larger space and a good atmosphere, which is why I have two stars...
