Very nice hotel. Just like everyone right now, they're having staffing issues and that sometime reflects in the standards. I could tell the team is working very hard to train new staff. The rooms were very nice and well stocked with full cookware and dinnerware sets. This made it easy to not have to order in all the time. The fact that there's a grocery store within walking distance also helps that a lot. The woman doing breakfast was beyond stellar. She was always on point keeping the breakfast bar well stocked all while entertaining the guests. She had a very welcoming "good morning" and quickly learned and retained our names. This made our stay even more comfortable. Twice in my three week stay, I found new folded towels were just plopped on the floor in the bathroom instead of put away properly. Again, I attribute this to training and staffing issues. The pool was very cold but that's an unfair testament from a person used to swimming in an outdoor pool in southwest Florida. The middle patio really needs some type of rain protection. It's a beautiful little set up and the patio got a lot of use during my team's stay but rain protection would have really made that little patio an A+ retreat. All-in-all, I would highly recommend staying here if you're needing to stay in Springfield for a while. I really enjoyed my stay here and the staff made my time away from home and family all little more comfortable.

This appears to be a new hotel. The rooms are large, very clean and up to date. There is a kitchenette and couch. The TV is large. I've stayed at a few Hilton's lately and this was one of the few where the digital key worked and every time. The beds and pillows are comfortable. There is extra bedding inside the closet. I was also surprised to see a full-size fridge. You could definitely live out of this room for an extended stay. The breakfast is hot and decent. It appears there are scrambled eggs one day and omelettes the next. The meat rotated with linked sausage, sausage patties and Polish sausage. The breakfast times are deceiving. I recently stayed at another Hilton and about missed breakfast because the app says breakfast is from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 when actually it's only open 6:00 to 9:00 on the weekdays and 7 to 10:00 on the weekends. I walked down at 9:00 a.m. on a weekday just as they were closing things up. Fortunately they opened and I got the leftovers. This is something that really needs to be fixed. If you trust the app, it says this time for every hotel, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00.

Very clean motel. Nice amenities. Large rooms. Stand in shower with sliding door. (No tub). Very clean heated indoor pool. (Unfortunately no hot tub). Pet friendly if you need that. Friendly staff. Pull out bed has a very nice mattress. Coffee and tea available 24 hr in lobby. Our personal neg/critiques: Main beds are little too firm. Water pressure is lacking. Wish they would put a clock in pool area. A/C control was a bit confusing or messed up. Wall control and actual thermostat on ac unit we’re always different. Seemed like the wall thermo wasn’t working at all. Bedroom was able to cool once we set the actual unit (not wall). Main room neither controls seemed to work. Wasnt a big issue for us since it wasn’t too warm, and we weren’t there that much. Overall would definitely stay there again! Final tip: DONT PARK BY BASKETBALL COURT. Was watching some kids playing and fence isn’t high enough to block the over shots. Ball went over and nearly hit the white car. Maybe Hilton should add an extra layer of fencing at the top.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel (of any brand). My family and I made (and paid for) our reservations in advance. However, when we arrived, the front desk clerk informed us there were no rooms available. She admitted it was her error. My wife, who previously worked in the hotel industry for many years in human resources, suggested they "walk" us to another hotel since it was their error. However, the front desk clerk said she had never heard of this term before and did not know what to do. (To provide context, we had driven more than 5 hours and were exhausted when we arrived. My 82-year-old mother, who was traveling with us, was very stressed out about this situation as we had to wait in the hotel lobby for hours. The hotel clerk, who had been left to work the shift alone, was scrambling around. It was chaos. Management should have never left this clerk alone during the busy Memorial Day weekend. That is a clear sign of the poor management of this hotel property.) After sitting in the hotel lobby for several hours, we were finally provided one room. The front desk clerk, who was working alone, did not have a second room for us. She stated that there was a vacant room, but it would need to be "deep cleaned" because a medical emergency had happened in that room earlier that night. The room next door was available because the person who had checked in only stayed a few hours then left. However, that room was not clean, and housekeeping had already left for the day, so she (the front desk clerk) would have to try to clean the room herself. When we were finally given access to the room (hours later), we discovered it had not been properly cleaned, and the bed-sheets were in disarray. The next morning, the manager apologized and acknowledged that it was her fault for taking off work that day and leaving the front desk clerk alone at the hotel. The manager also stated that we would receive a full refund for both rooms since what had happened was the hotel’s responsibility and it was not acceptable that we had to go through that, and she would check with the general manager to add additional Hilton Honors points to our account (in addition to the full refund). We left the hotel, believing the issue had been resolved, but later, we received a phone call, in which the manager we had met with during checkout stated that she had tried but was unable to give us a refund because we had prepaid for the room (I guess the lesson is, you should never prepay for your stay. Otherwise, the hotel will try to deny a refund, even if they overbook the hotel, which is their fault, not the fault of the guest). The manager said, instead, they would give us enough points for one night’s stay for one room only. This is not what we were promised when we originally met with the manager during check out. Even after admitting that she had attempted to get us a full refund, she later denied ever offering us a refund at all. Not only did this property management team drop the ball, they added insult to injury by refusing to honor the offer we were given at checkout. The manager knows the truth of what was promised, and so do we. She can deny and deny, but the truth is the truth. This situation could have been handled in a satisfactory way, and it initially was, but by refusing to honor what was originally offered is dishonorable. Instead of Hilton Honors, I will now call the program Hilton Dishonors, based on my experience and how dishonorably Hilton treated us. I strongly advise that you avoid this property, and based on how Hilton handled the situation, I would advise avoiding the Hilton...

As frequent long stay travelers we rarely come across a hotel that is exemplary, but our stay with your hotel has been nothing less.

To start off, the hotel was impeccably clean. We constantly saw Renee cleaning the lobby area and spraying Lysol throughout the common areas as well as keeping the individual sanitizer stations full and ready for use (Renee always has a friendly smile or comment as we walked by). We frequently saw the outside areas being cleaned and picked up, which made it pleasant to walk our dog.

In addition to the facility, we want to recognize the exemplary service we received from your entire team. The distinguished service was throughout your team from Kevin/Ciera/Abbie at the Front Desk, Cindy with Sales, Kay with the Cafeteria, to Jim with Housekeeping/Maintenance.

The front desk staff was always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We were greeted more like friends than clients every time, and that made it easy to approach the front area with questions or requests. Requesting fresh coffee in the afternoon was always greeted with smiles and happiness to help. Area knowledge was helpful as well as suggestions for sites of interests.

The cafeteria staff was always accommodating and considerate which is very important before the morning caffeine intake, and housekeeping was very good including room/door towel delivery in the mornings.

Even just walking through the lobby or down the halls, the team always had a friendly...
