Disappointed, and now I know to always go to Qdoba. Ordered online for delivery but when I reached the payment page, a pop-up said “Sorry, there’s no delivery option tonight” and urged me to change to pick-up. Not thrilled but ok.
My order ETA was 40 minutes. I arrived a few minutes early, and with their small parking lot full, I ended up parking around back towards Noodles. My food wasn’t ready so I joined the other 20 people waiting. Nothing was set up for social-distancing even though it’s March of 2021 and Covid precautions are (or should be) totally routine. everyone spread out throughout the store. (It’s March, 2021. COVID isn’t a new thing.) Everyone spaced themselves out throughout the store.
They called my name 8 minutes later, which was okay and not too far off their prediction. I picked up my food right away and drove the 5 minutes home. I don’t understand why all of our food was cold unless it had actually been prepared much faster than expected and then sat forgotten? It all needed the microwave.
A $9+ burrito bowl came half empty. A $12 burrito with “double carnitas” came with a normal amount on one-half absolutely ZERO on the other half. They were very generous with my guac, so there’s that. Everything tasted fine, but not getting what we paid for and having it cold right out of the bag made for a...
Read moreZero stars would be a more appropriate rating. I have no idea how this place is still in business. I have been to other Chipotles in the United States, and none are quite as horrible as this. I am a Springfield resident, and I generally prefer Chipotle vs. Qdoba, but no more. It's outrageously expensive. Qdoba doesn't charge you extra to put cheese or guacamole on your bowl. Chipotle is always running out of stuff. A few months ago, my husband and I went there for dinner. They didn't close for another hour and a half, and the lady behind the counter was cleaning and spraying the glass ABOVE the food while there was a long line. Never once did she acknowledge anyone in the restaurant waiting to order. Finally, my husband said that it was ridiculous and we were leaving. He walked over to a lady sitting at the table and asked if she were the manager. She gave him a dirty look and said yes. He asked why they were cleaning for closing an hour and a half before and ignoring customers. She shrugged her shoulders, gave him a dirty look, and looked back down at her papers. I can't believe these people have a job, let alone are in a position of management. This store will be closed soon if they don't get it under control. I will never go back to...
Read moreDespite the fact their seems to be a decent number of staff working today, this location is a complete mess. The floors are a mess. They are working on it so that's something I guess. Our food was supposed to be ready over 15 minutes ago. They seemed pretty surprised that people were doing mobile orders and their manager got on them about paying attention to those so that's awesome. Floor is sticky where I'm waiting. I really hope the food is alright, because that will be the only redeeming factor in this nightmare.
Update: We eventually got so fed up we asked for a refund. They then got the manager and some employee handed us a bag. It seemed we had managed to finally get our food around the 30 minute mark. Mind you we ordered two things... A quesadilla and a burrito bowl. Out of all of the customizations we both did, she got lettuce and steak inside inside of a bowl. I, on the other hand, ended up with steak and melted cheese in a tortilla. We never did get that refund, but we couldn't waste another minute inside that godawful store. $30 dollars down the drain. This is why I never eat at Chipotle. So much for my wife's first time having it. She'll never want to...
