I was extremely disappointed in my last visit to this Noodles & Company. After realizing that the two entrees I purchased did not have chicken on them (after being charged an extra $6 dollars for chicken), I called to ask what my options were (since I had already driven home). When I called, the employee who answered said I would need to speak to the manager and that I "shouldn't expect a full refund"-- just a refund for the forgotten chicken. I let her know I would still like to speak with the manager, and was hung up on. Thinking this was a mistake, I called back and heard the employee pick up the phone and hang up again. Finally, on the third call I mentioned that I was hung up on twice, and was given no explanation why and wordlessly put on hold for the manager.
When I finally spoke to the manager she was nice, and offered a refund-- but I would have to come back in to get it. Which I did, on the condition that they would also remake the food for the expense of driving back across town. When I arrived the employee who answered the phone proceeded to point at me and whisper with other employees about the situation. The same employee who hung up on me proceeded to stare at me the entire time I waited for my order to be remade, and made me feel VERY uncomfortable.
Worth noting, at NO point in the interaction was I rude or anything other than polite to everyone at the restaurant-- despite being treated so poorly.
For a location that had to close for months to "train and recruit new staff", I'm disappointed that this was what I was met with after the hiatus. While the manager was very kind and accommodating, it simply didn't make up for the poor attitude and chaos throughout the restaurant. I witnessed employees dancing behind the counter, and not doing anything to contribute to the cleanliness or operation of the restaurant. One employee was taking out the trash and left a trail of liquid in front of the cash register, which she notified the rest of the employees of with no one attempting to clean it up.
The only reason why I am giving this location 2 stars is because the food was very good, and the manager was kind. However, I won't ever go back based on the uncomfortable experience with the rest...
Read moreTwo weeks ago, I placed my first order with Noodles and Company through DoorDash. The Dasher who brought our order didn't alert me to the fact that the shrimp dishes I ordered contained no shrimp. I contacted Noodles and Co to find out what happened, and discovered they had run out of shrimp. DoorDash had been instructed to call me if the items I ordered weren't available, and hadn't done so, bit had they even told the Dasher about the shrimp?
I don't know who's fault it was, but the Noodles and Co manager made good by offering two replacement meals at a later date. The original meals were tasty, but we had to cook and add proteins ourselves, which caused the meals to be cold. Zucchini noodles do not hold up well to reheating as they get a bit mushy and runny.
I picked up the replacement meals yesterday, and they were perfect. When I arrived to get them, I discovered they had no drive-up window. I parked in a curbside spot, but was told I'd have to go inside to pay for the garlic bread I'd also ordered The wheelchair lift on my van was broken and I was unable to bring it with me, and couldn't go inside to pay. The manager also comped my order of garlic bread! I tried to pay with cash, but was told it was not necessary.
I will be returning to Noodles and Co. quite often now that I've discovered how tasty their meals are. I really love that I can get zucchini or cauliflower noodles instead of wheat based ones. The reduction in...
Read moreWe usually never have a problem at Noodles and Co. but our latest trip on Friday March 13th was very disappointing. We ordered without issue, found a spot and waited for our food. When our food came it was ice cold, so we took it back up and the young man who helped us had the staff make new food. We received our second set of food and it was warm but not really hot at all like it should be, we ate what we received but never got a sorry about your food. Then one member of our party asked for the brewed tea and they said they’d make some but they forgot, when they did get it done we were done eating and about ready to leave. The shift manager stopped and apologized and provided the table with a treat for the wait on the tea. The shift manager was very helpful and made things right and the young man who got us new food was very professional. Our experience with the cold and Luke warm food will not stop us from coming back, but please work on the temperature...
