Coyote's Adobe Café — Restaurant in Springfield

Coyotes had been a main stay and popular for their unique twice fried wings for decades now. The atmosphere is casual class, wonderful covered outdoor seating in the summer and a enclosed smoking area with great and services for colder climes. You instantly feel welcome walking thru the door, like visiting a good friends house for dinner. There's more TV's for sports games or family entertainment (private TV's in the dining room booths) and they broadcast every game there is as far as I can see. You won't find thugs or criminal element hanging around here. They know better that the employees will not tolerate it. It's full of decent, interesting people that like to stroller up conversations with the tables next to them and all the sudden you met your next member of your inner circle that happens to already like your favorite restaurant. It's just that fun, laughter with strangers destined to be friends, a wait staff and that cares immensely about your experience under their care and they are just as fun and interesting as the other customers. Sit at the bar one day and have a chat with one of your bartenders. They always have the best stories if you're bored it the most unique drink options if you and a friend are feeling adventurous. Either way, if you miss out on this gem you've missed out on nationally award winning food and walking out with a smile on your face, saying goodbye to people you just met who already feel like old friends....

The reason I am only giving one star is because our waitress Gracie was Amazing! We went yesterday for lunch and had a great time. Not long after eating as we were leaving my mouth felt so dry, like I had cotton balls in it, my mouth going numb and started to not feel well. I was having an allergic reaction. Cameron took me to get some coconut water ( which counteracts my allergy to shellfish) something told me to call Coyotes and ask if they prepared their food with LATEX gloves and to my dismay, they confirmed it. Cameron is deathly allergic to it and I have developed an allergy to it as well. I got us some Benadryl . Thankfully it helped Cameron, but I got worse. He took me home and I went to bed and remained there until this morning. LATEX Needs to be banned from restaurants, hospitals and places that serve food. The allergic reactions can lead to DEATH! I don’t care if it is cheaper to buy latex gloves , not killing a person is more important. Spend the extra 10 cents and get latex free , it could save a life! We love this restaurant BUT we could have died. If they continue to use LATEX gloves to prepare their food we will NOT be back and we will warn Everyone that it is not safe to eat here, to avoid this restaurant...

So let me start by saying that we love this coyotes location. My husband and I come probably once a week-once every two weeks. We always order the wings the exact same way each time, but this visit, the wings were not the best. My husband said his wings were decent and I asked for extra wet like I usually do. They were not even regularly sauced, let alone extra, so I asked for a side of buffalo. The main issue is the waitress Amanda S. Normally I would not mention names, but I made a point to keep my receipt so that I had her name, because this is the 3rd time she has been our waitress and it is always horrendous. Poor listening skills and she literally never checks on us. I have had to get up to ask for a single drink refill in the past. Every other waitress we have had has been awesome. We always hate when we find out she's our waitress. We will continue to come, because we love it, but for the love of god, she needs some further training.
