I have much to say here. My worst experience with a restaurant was surpassed today by this location. I never eat at Popeyes so I can't compare it to other Popeyes but I can compare it to other restaurants that I have delivered from.
I am an Uber Driver and I had a pick up for family at this Popeyes. When I got there I got an Uber order as well. I thought to myself, "Sweet $10" then told the workers at the drive through that I had two orders. They immediately told me to call me Uber recipient and tell them that many items were missing, about half of their order. I called 3 times and didn't get a response, but on the Uber order they wanted me to call if there was an issue. When I pulled up further I was asked what food was in my family's order as their machine was broken and didn't have the orders. I have no idea what that means so I texted my family and asked for them to send the order. I was then asked to pull forward as I was hurting the driveway worker's times. I pulled forward and was given a bag and said it was the Uber order. I haven't had many Uber orders but I have never been handed an open bag with no markings indicating it was Uber and given what was on the order I new many items were missing. I waited a bit longer for the other order and eventually walked inside as I had been waiting for nearly 20 minutes. They eventually get the other order, avoiding eye contact as I stand waiting for 5 more minutes and I note that items are mission from the Uber and now my other order. Including drinks. Apparently this location is out of everything. I call the Uber again as their order isn't complete and eventually have to cancel the order.
Now to the food...
My family's order was supposed to be 2 chicken tinders, one spicy and one normal. Then there was an order for a chicken sandwich plain. Each order had Cajun fries and the chicken tinders had biscuits. All of the fries were cold, they were cooler than room temperature. I put all of the bags into a thermal container which means that the fries were just cold. They had no flavor either. They were hard and crunchy like they were made in the morning and had just sat in the open since then. The biscuits were tough, the inside was soft enough to eat but the other shell was like 3mm of plastic. When bitting it, it cracked rather than whatever word biscuits should be described as doing. The chicken sandwich was in a thermal pouch, like at Chick-fil-A. But in the 6 minute drive home, the bread had gotten soggy and the chicken was dry as a dusty ceiling fan. I had to drink between every bit just to get the chicken down.
There were also issues with the order, one of the chicken tinders became nuggets and neither were spicy. They also didn't have drinks.
I asked the lady at the front to ensure there wouldn't be a charge for drinks we didn't get and she said she couldn't do anything and that we'd have to go through the app. Luckily my mom got a full refund which means Popeyes as a company must at least be decent, but this location is horrendous. I cannot recommend anyone go here ever. I highly doubt the restaurant would still be around if all locations were like this one, so my guess is that...
Read moreOn 10-03-25, at 9:00 AM, I placed an online order through the Popeyes app, for a 4:30 PM pickup at the Springfield, MO., South Campbell location. I've received poor service twice before at this location and had hoped that by using the app I might avoid the same poor quality issues. Not so! I called the location at 4:00 PM to check on the order, and, as I half expected, the clerk indicated that the store had no record of the order. Of course, as she was telling me this, I was looking at my online digital receipt. She then asked if I could call back in ten minutes, because she didn't really understand how to search for an online order and her manager was "unloading a truck". I called back twenty minutes later (now 4:50 PM), and the clerk indicated that my order was ready to be picked up. I drove to the location and waited behind two other cars in the drive through line. As I was waiting, I observed two employees exit the restaurant to sit on the curb and smoke. After waiting fifteen minutes in the stalled drive through lane, the employees returned to the store and the car ahead of me pulled out and left without ordering. The first car in line was still at the order board and still waiting to order. I pulled out of the drive through lane and parked. I entered the restaurant and was the third person in line. I waited an additional 15 minutes and then explained I was there to pick up my online order. The clerk indicated that it hadn't been prepared yet (?) and would take another seven minutes "to drop". I sat down and waited another fifteen minutes before my name was called. No comp or apology was offered. After waiting for 45 minutes for a simple order of 18 wings, I returned home and discovered that the chicken was overly salted, substandard, and largely inedible. So, after having given this location three tries to get it right, I am done. The staff, while clearly not trained, or organized, are impolite and incompetent...but that is a failure of management, and ownership. Take your business elsewhere and let this Popeyes slide...

My girlfriend tried to order food through their website around 9:30pm on Monday night (2/17/25) to pickup food for her sister-in-law that had just gotten home from the hospital after giving birth to my girlfriend's nephew. She went to go pick up the order and as she got to the drive-thru intercom, the lady said they were closed (they don't close until midnight). There were employees STILL in the store and the order was "ready for pickup." The lady turned off the lights and stood at the drive-thru window staring at us! We tried calling the store several times and after the second phone call, the employee literally unplugged the phone instead of just answering and refunding our money!
The next day we went up there and explained the situation to the manager. The manager said, "I apologize, we closed early due to the weather." Which is understandable because we got a bunch of snow. We asked if we could get a refund and the manager said, "our orders are done through a 3rd party so we can't issue refunds in store." which is not true at all! So my girlfriend filed a dispute with Cashapp. Cashapp contacted them and they said they gave us our order which they didn't!
The employee that was there when she said the store was closed was there when we went up to talk to management and left as soon as she saw us and said we wanted to talk to the manager. She drives a red sedan car.
DO NOT GO TO THIS POPEYES!!! THE EMPLOYEES ARE THEIVES AND THE MANAGER IS A LIAR!!!
That food was for my girlfriend's sister-in-law that had literally just gotten home from the hospital after giving birth to her nephew! YOU STOLE FROM A LADY THAT HAD JUST SPENT THE DAY GIVING BIRTH TO A CHILD AND HADNT EATEN ALL DAY! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!!
