This is the #1 Italian restaurant to go to in Springfield and our absolute favorite place to go out to eat. Once you eat here you will always be comparing things you eat elsewhere to Avanzare as they are at the top level as far as food quality is concerned, it will literally give you a different perception. Everything is made with top quality ingredients from scratch. They have a huge wine selection and the staff is very friendly and professional. They have the best grade of meat for their steaks (confirmed from meat distributors) and you will leave there saying that was the best steak over ever had. Visited the Plaza Shopping Center for Avanzare (I've probably misspelled it). My husband and daughter took me for my birthday. Second time there as we also went about 5 months ago for a date night. The food is to die for. So good. Not traditional Italian I don't think, it has a modern twist that really works. Its loud. Like...super loud. If you are looking for a quiet and quaint place for an intimate date or the like, this won't work for you because we found ourselves having to talk quite loudly just to hear one another. Rescue One is located in this plaza. I went there to take a rescue kitten that I am fostering to see their vet. Rescue One is sponsoring her to hopefully get adopted and are also taking care of all the costs necessary to keep her healthy which included all her vaccinations and spaying. So she was fully vetted. Her appointment was on Tuesday March 16th. They are located underneath All About Guns just to the side of this shopping center. They are wonderful, compassionate and kind people that truly care for the animals that they rescue...
