I ordered a 14" hand-tossed pizza with double cheese and the extra robust inspired tomato sauce. I placed the order at 5:36pm on a Wednesday night for our school newspaper staff, The Jet Jotter at Longmeadow High School. We had high hopes for this pizza, as we frequented delivery with local competitors Denardo's and Peppa's, both well-established eateries for a quick slice. The pizza took approximately 40 minutes to arrive, which was odd because I thought that Domino's still had the "30 minutes or free" policy. I approached the door, 30 minutes in hand, ready to question the delivery man, Geraldo, about this policy. Geraldo was extremely friendly from the get-go, beginning with the classic, "Domino's Pizza!" I asked about the policy, to which Geraldo responded, "I've been here since 2005, and we got rid of this policy a while ago." Our conversation transitioned to an evergreen tree adjacent to my driveway. Regarding this tree, Geraldo commented, "You don't need a Christmas tree." We all had a good laugh about that quite humorous comment by Geraldo. I pulled the $21 ($20.56 plus a $0.44 tip) out of my pocket and handed it to him, but retrospectively, I would have tipped him more had I known how friendly and genial he truly was. I will definitely re-order from the Domino's on Sumner Ave., especially since they have such amiable delivery people...
Read moreHorrible horrible! I walk in they take my order and my money with no problem. When I walk over to the restroom which is on the customers side of the counter the lady needing the dough yells “ NOOO” I say excuse me she says “NOT for the public”. I stand there confused and say I’m a customer she just looks at me and shrugged her shoulders carelessly. Luckily for this location my kids were hungry and the order was already placed. I will never come back. I didn’t agree with restrooms not being available to customers. I understand people walking in from the public randomly not being allowed to use the restroom but not for paying customers. What bothered me was the miserable old lady with the attitude and no people skills. Maybe if she would’ve nicely said “sorry bathrooms are not available” but no she watched me walk to the door and yelled “NOOOO”. Like excuse me ma’am, that was rude! Also, they had a laminated paper over the ortigal bathroom sign. Meaning most likely they came up with this on their own. Restrooms for the customers is a standard recommendation in restaurants. Thank god my I’m an adult and can hold on...
Read moreLast night My pizza cost $11. But the five dollar delivery charged brought it to $17. I tried ordering from Sumner Avenue but because of my ZIP Code I was routed to this horrible walnut Street location. When ordering my food the representative on the phone asked me to leave delivery instructions so I left specific instructions. The driver bring the food to my house. Said those instructions were a violation of their rules. I said OK I understand the driver then gave me a nasty attitude demanded that I hurry up and come downstairs to get my pizza before I can get down the stairs. Driver left my pizza on the front porch stairs with the box open! When I called the store to demand a refund the personal answer the phone was just as rude and disrespectful as the driver. The supervisor who took over the call was pretty decent however, I’ve been told to wait for a manager. No one will get me a manager and no one is giving me my money back, I guess it’s time to call the Better Business Bureau. I will never order again. This is the worst customer service experience I...
