I went here on 3/13 around 11am, with my family. We ordered and the manager was overly micro-managing. She was extremely rude and was obviously having a bad day. When I ordered the bacon, avocado, and egg white sandwich. (Which is on the menu twice. Also the they are listed differently, when I ordered it I did not read the second listing were it includes sauce) When I got the sandwhich, to my surprise there was sauce on it. I brought it back up and explained that I did not think it was supposed to have sauce. To me this was not a big deal I was just confused. The manager points to the menu and says “Its right there on the menu sweety.” The manager grabed it out of my hand, did not let me finish my explanation. She angerly remade it. I said over the counter “Its not a big deal you dont need to get mad over it” she ignored my comment. Then an older gentleman came in and she was extremely nice to him, maybe to compensate? Read moreI have ordered off the app and have picked up via drive thru about 3 or 4 times this past month. Food is good. Service is inconsistent. One day I got a super nice and helpful young man... he ran my food out to me so I didn't have to wait to go through the long line of cars for an order I had placed ahead. I work nights and that small gesture meant so much at 7am! There were napkins and food utensils in my bag. I was ready to give this place 5 stars as I drove away, but I knew I'd be back, so see if the experience would be the same. It hasn't been. The last few days have been different. Today, I ordered $20 of food to go, and didn't even get one napkin. The food is the food. It's the little things that matter. And I just feel 'meh' about this place. The location on National is not a whole lot better in these terms either. But the bagels are good anywhere you go! I do like the app and how convenient it is to order my food and pull up. Katrina took my order. She just displayed wonderful people skills and was exceedingly patient. Even though I was ordering a bagel I was planning to share it with my daughter.
Even though technically, it’s my sandwich, I was fine with one out of two choices. My daughter was leading one way, and then at the last minute changed her mind. It wasn’t important to me, but I wasn’t thrilled about having to call back yet again.
Katrina was a champ. She didn’t flinch even with a special order. It wasn’t crazy, but just extra mayo, etc..
The point is that she displayed wonderful customer service skills…. for me, it quelled the anxiety that I was feeling.
I have had consistently good experiences there regarding the employees and how they treat customers. I cannot always say that at other dining establishments.
