We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Finley’s Tap House in Springfield! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Leticia, who is truly one of the best waitresses we’ve ever met. She is warm, welcoming, and takes such genuine pride in her work. She went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was memorable, ensuring that everything on our table was just perfect. Her attention to detail and care made the evening extra special.
Now let’s talk about the food and drinks — simply amazing! Their craft beers are a highlight, and the best part is they change every week, so there’s always something new to discover. The Cheesecart Burger, tossed in tangy buffalo sauce and served on a soft brioche bun, is an absolute must-try. We also loved the Hot Mash with Flatbread, hearty and delicious, and the Alfredo Basil Hot Chicken, which was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The vibe at Finley’s Tap House is lively yet cozy, making it a great spot for both casual hangouts and special dinners. If you’re planning to visit, here’s a tip: call ahead and check if Leticia is on shift — she will make sure you have the best time here.
Highly recommend Finley’s Tap House in Springfield — amazing food, rotating craft beers, and...
Read moreVery disappointed, and it had been one of my favorite places before today. I ordered a meal and substituted a salad, no onion. I asked if they had vinaigrette and the answer was yes. My salad came out with onion and the dressing was Asian, which is a big difference from a vinaigrette. I picked off the onions, but asked for a different dressing. My meal, let’s just say I’m not sure how long it sat in the kitchen. The mashed potatoes were barely warm and the chicken was room temperature and dry. This is itself would keep me away from trying again, but the kicker was the bill. I was charged for the dressings, Yes, there was a charge for the Asian dressing .75 - the one I didn’t want and a charge for the ranch replacement .50. Again, not going to break the bank, but at this juncture, it’s over. I asked Ethan ( good server ) if I could talk to the manager because I really didn’t understand being charged for dressing. He left came back and said the manager said he could remove the .50 charge. Epic mistake by the manager, not to come over and leave it to the server to handle, which was that he could not do anything about the charge. Apparently, the charging me .75 for the dressing was worth bad reviews and...
Read moreI have always enjoyed this restaurant, however my recent experience was disappointing. My friend and I both ordered the barbecue chicken as there was a VERY limited menu of about twelve items. There was no mention of the chicken being blackened, however, the chicken was completely black on all sides. We were not sure if it was supposed to be blackened or if it was just plain burned. The pepper was so thick and spicy on the chicken that both of us stripped all traces of the skin from it. It didn’t really help, as the spice was all through the meat. It should be noted that my dining companion is Mexican, so she is no stranger to spicy food. In addition, the chicken was WAY over cooked and barely chewable. The sides I chose were potato salad, which I found to be way undercooked, or maybe people like their potatoes crunchy and I’m the one with the problem. The other was baked beans, which would have been very tasty, had they not fallen prey to the same heavy handed spice wielding chef! As I said, back when they had a full menu, everything was good that I had tried. I’m hoping that this day, a waiter filled in...
