We had a retirement party there. The music was overwhelming. As more & more people showed up for the event the noise level got louder & louder. This in of itself made it difficult to hear, but at one point I realized people were almost literally screaming at one another to have a discussion. My wife & I were the second couple to get there & I had nothing to eat all day so I ordered the burger, and fish and chips. After about 20 people got there I noticed they all had ordered & had already received there order. So I asked about my order, they said something happened in the kitchen. I honestly could not repeat what he told me happened. That's not big a big deal. The menu was extremely small but I must admit the food was amazing. End result: Turn the music down so people can talk, make sure all orders are out in a timely manner, and if asked why it's late be forthright and honest. Most people can take it if an order is running late, communication is key. I definitely would recommend this place to...
Read moreWent for "Irish pub," found a "sports bar." Condiments are itemized, don't get fooled by the face value low price, bit bland and/or greasy as-is, but I wasn't going for food quality anyway so not a big deal. The classic stout and whiskey selection's there, but the focus appeared to have been on mixed drinks - again, not a bad thing, just not what I was expecting.
I was left alone by the staff for the most part, which was very much appreciated as they let me drink and be moody in (relatively, discounting the music and ongoing sports airing) comfortable silence, which I was genuinely grateful for.
The atmosphere was, again, less "Irish pub" and more "sports bar," which isn't bad unless the directions you take direct you to the former instead of the latter. I'd recommend the place for anyone just looking for some quick alcohol, not so much for a...
Read moreNot impressed at all went there for a trivia night and they didn't have the regular menu so I can't say what their food is like normally but the food for the fundraiser was disgusting and extremely overpriced even though it was for charity I still expected decent food and unless you signed up for their VIP which was $120 for six people then you've got what they called baked spaghetti which was not make spaghetti it was just actually spaghetti with pasta sauce on it not baked at all. When we said something to the kitchen manager he was extremely rude I will never go back here and if attend another charity trivia night here I will definitely eat before I go! I would have been much happier had I been able to order off their...
