We have been to the Hurts location in Branson a handful of times. We happened to be in Springfield for thed day, so my daughter asked if we could go get some donuts, so we decided to give the Springfield location a try. The lady working the counter was great, very kind, knowledgeable of her products, and talkative.
We went in for two donuts and left with a Dirty Dozzen. The donuts were okay, they all actually taste stale, I think the freshest one we had was the Bart Simpson, which she said had been brought out right before we arrived. Other than that, they all are pretty dry and the texture isn't great.
I would say my biggest complaint was the dog sitting in there when we got inside, being held by his owner in the tall table by the donut counter. Not only that, but allowing the man to hold his dog up directly next to the counter when talking to the employee. I am a huge animal lover, and have 3 dogs of my own, but there are just certain places dogs should and shouldn't be allowed (unless service dogs of course), but none of them should be allowed to be held up to the counter. That alone, has me not wanting to return to...

The nutella donut was 100000000% not nutella. It tasted like chocolate syrup had been mixed with sugar and they called it nutella.
Our experience with the staff was wonderful. They were happy and helpful. But the donuts have gone downhill and are not even close to what they used to be. I'm sad that the Hurts Donuts today isn't the same Hurts...
Read moreit's so cute inside, and the selection of treats is consistent enough to know what i want when i arrive, and varies enough that i tend to leave with an extra of something new !
the cookies are my favorite. oh my GOODNESS they're good. the gluten free donuts they have sometimes are shockingly yummy and not at all dry (which is impressive for gluten free donuts). and nothing is so expensive it makes my head spin. i think the most expensive thing i've gotten was literally a cinnamon roll the size of my noggin.
their facebook is also really fun to follow because they do little posts and activities where you can get a free or discounted treat, AND i can get a notification when they make a bunch of fresh cookies at 2am right when i was craving them.
i love picking up treats for me and my roomates from here. it's our...
