I love Big Slice and being a business owner myself I typically give people the benefit of the doubt and I literally have never left a bad review (anywhere)… until now.
I walked in where I was not greeted and literally ignored because I was looking at the pizza through the glass. I was then loudly told she’d be ready to take my order when I walked around. I happily obliged, only thing on my mind was being excited about the pizza I was just looking at. I came to the counter and asked for the name of that pizza that caught my eye, and what’s in it. She answered and rolled her eyes then handed me a piece of paper that showed all the ingredients for every pizza (but I was ready to order the pizza I asked about). I then stated no thank you the visual was good enough for me, she then loudly and embarrassing said “well isn’t that fun for me” and sarcastically rattled off every pizza that was visible (although again I was ready to order after I asked about the first pizza). She then turned to me and gave me a clearly annoyed glare, and I said I think I’m going to eat somewhere else. For the first time during the interaction I got a smile out of her and she she very giddily said “ok” as I was walking out I asked for her name and again with a huge smile and enthusiasm in her voice she proudly said “Christine” (not sure of the spelling).
Like I previously mentioned, I’ve only ever left 5 star reviews, when people are rude or off putting I simply chalk it up to having a bad day. This was not that it was just a lack of effort or care, almost going out of her way to create an unpleasant experience and as a business owner myself I’d want to know if someone in my operation behaved in this manner. Read moreIm impressed! 1st timer eating here. 1st impression, walked in & music was playing the good olè 70's. It made me want to dance. So i did a little giggie doo... lol... It was fun & I made the guys laugh. The guy who took my order, dont know there names, I think they gave me fauls names & was afraid I might stock them or something but I could of been there Mother thats the age difference. I ordered a, what they call a 18", other pizza places would of been there large, half The supreme Ruler, for the hubby, & the other Canadian bacon, mushroom, & onion light on suace for me. It was great. There pizza dough is done in house, bc I asked. When I got home the pizza was cooked to perfection & there was NO GREASE standing on the pizza @ all. The crust has a nice crispy crunch to it. This pizza was not heavy filling in your stomach. Like you ate brick then you fill sick @ your stomach then you just want to lie on the couch & not move all night long. Like other pizza joints around town. My husband & I only ate 2 slices each & we was full. But felt like, only if we was younger, could of went out to a club & danced all night long. I cant say enough words to describe this pizza your going to have to try it for yourselves & just trust me you will not be disappointed @ all. My card was charged then I was told 1.5 hours For delivery after being charged or pick it up myself in 30 to 35 minutes, which I opted to do since I had kids to feed and it was 7:30 pm and we had been traveling all day eating airport snacks. Got their and was asked for payment again and told my Card had not been charged. Logged into my bank account and showed them the charge To which they insisted it did not happen showing me an order for $3 less on their computer that didn’t have the delivery fee and insisted I needed to Pay again because their computer said no with no regard to a FDIC insured bank showing the transaction, then they finally said it would credit back as it was cancelled out since the order taker was on the phone and it never went through but when I asked for something showing the transaction had been cancelled I was told they had nothing. I left frustrated refusing to pay a second time (for the principal) and bought little Caesars ready to go pizza. Three Days later check my bank and sure enough the charge was completed and still there so I called the store And Jacob insisted that their computer said zero had been paid on the order and my $45.49 had not been collected but I insisted it had and then he said he believed me but didn’t know what to do about it and would call his credit card Processor without saying when or indicating any turn time or apologizing or any accountability for how this was handled. I called my bank and they are resolving it now because I have zero confidence that I will be hearing from anyone at Big slice pizza anytime soon about this...
