I've only ordered from this Pizza Hut Online, I've never actually been in the store. I will say that something has really changed. My husband and I used to love ordering from here. Just grab a couple of medium pizzas, (I'm a vegetarian, he is not) We both get what we want, and have leftovers as a little treat to ourselves! For a great price too! Suddenly, it's like they can't get our order right if their lives depended on it. BUT it almost seems as though it's being done on purpose. Such as asking for light sauce and it comes absolutely drowning in sauce. Okay don't ask for anything special! I usually order a cheese pizza, with green olives. They've put so many olives on it, the salt from the amount on this pizza made it inedible! Yes, I did remove some olives, but there also comes a point where your appetite is just ruined. I have a terminal heart and lung disease and already struggle with my appetite. Getting something like pizza is supposed to be a treat for me. I'm not trying to play up my sympathy card... okay... maybe a little bit! ( I gotta have one perk from dying!!) You never know who the customer is, and what they have happening in their lives. Shrugs A good thing to remember in every interaction. You can make or break someone's day with the smallest gesture or just one word. Stranger or friend. I just think the employees of this Pizza Hut don't care to do their jobs correctly, and may feel they aren't paid enough to take it seriously. Maybe they're right? Idk. I suppose that includes management as well, because there seems to be ZERO quality control going on. I've worked in customer service too, I've worked in food service. It wasn't fun. Many customers are rude and can treat you pretty badly. I am NOT one of those customers. My orders are never anything above and beyond. I'm always friendly and polite when you arrive with my order. I give generous tips. Sometimes it's in cash, which is why it's not immediately viewable on your end. I don't think it's asking a lot to order a pizza as a treat, and have it arrive as I ordered it. I'm not even asking you to be nice when you drop it off. So order at your own risk I suppose. You might get what you ordered, you might not. If you're feeling lucky, roll the dice lol!
I have a word of advice for these employees, if your job makes you that unhappy that you can't even make yourself care enough to do it correctly, find the job that does. Really. If it doesn't make you happy, change it! If you aren't...
Read moreI don’t normally do reviews, but this needs to be addressed. We have ordered from this pizza hut plenty of different times and honestly it’s only been really great a couple of times. I am very understanding because I’ve worked in the food business and I get that things happen - especially in times like these. But tonight, I placed an order on the app at 7:59pm, and it says “estimated delivery time 25-35 minutes.” So, I would expect to see it at my door at least by 8:45pm. I got the text update that said my order is out for delivery at 8:41pm - so a little late but nothing crazy. Well 9:25pm rolled around and I get a call from the supervisor, I believe, and she apologized and said that there was a mix up with some of the tickets and some people either got the wrong order delivered to them or didn’t receive them at all. We were one of the ones who didn’t get our order. She said they were making it fresh and that it would be out asap. I called back at 9:45pm just to ask what time we should see it arrive (because we have dogs and I like to be prepared) and she said they were boxing it up now and that I should see it in like 15-20 minutes. Now it’s 10:17pm and I call again just to check the status of the order (since it’s been almost 2.5 hours since I originally placed the order) and the guy said that it went out at least 15 minutes ago. The delivery man showed up when I was still on the phone around 10:25pm. His name is Ronnie and he is so sweet every time he has brought us pizza (no complaints there). When we finally got to eat the pizza, it was slightly over cooked, luke warm, and barely cut - which are all just really annoying after waiting for the pizza for 2.5 hours after being told that it would be made fresh since we were forgotten. All around - just...
Read moreAfter a 12 hour shift at work today I visited this location to pick up 16 boneless medium wings. When I got inside I noticed that the girl working the front was walking around BAREFOOT, stepping on cheese and fallen pepperonis. I got my wings, paid and drove home. I made the mistake of not opening the container to check the food until I got home which is when I found out they did not put any medium sauce on my wings, instead they covered the wings in RANCH. Which is not even a sauce option for their wings!!! I usually let these things go because I don’t have the time or energy after a long day. But the fact that I was sent home with ranch wings AND the girl working was barefoot lit my fire to call the store. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager and the voice on the other end said “that’s me!” And I respond with, “are you the girl walking around the store barefoot?? You’re the manager?!” And she said “yes,I’m on break” I then told her about my ranch wings and I got a “sorry”. First of all Pizza Hut, we gotta find some new “talent” for your manager positions. In the company I work at, we don’t get to a manager level position by being the most unprofessional versions of ourselves. Granted it’s not a fast food company, but COME ON! Secondly to the barefoot girl- if you’re “on a break” you don’t need to be working the counter and walking around. Go take your break in your car where you can let your stinky toes breathe. I’m so disappointed that this is the best customer service that Pizza...
