my family and I are regulars at the wabash shop and we love it! although we went in on Wednesday 01-04-2023 between 4:30 -5:00, the G.M., the only reason I know he was the g.m. is because he kept telling everyone who he was, was yelling at an employee while she was on her break, about how she needed to come back because they were starting to get busy. this was happening while he keep interrupting the other employees while they were trying to make sandwiches.... he would step in "because im the only one who knows how to do this"he was clearly the reason for the backup. then he kept trying to make small talk with customers by talking about all the other sandwich shops he used to work at. he was very unprofessional. the sad part was you could see his team was completely demoralized by his presence. we will be back but only when he's not working because the rest of the employees have...

However, we have recently moved to Springfield, Il and we have not been able to enjoy our weekly subs because of the employees not washing their hands at this place. It is by far the worst. I am speaking of the employees. I have had to remind each one of them to WASH their hands. The will be cleaning, stop, take order and go straight to grabbing bread. Are you kidding me? I have left a few times without purchasing because the attitude that is displayed when I ask them to wash their hands. My son once became very ill after eating here and I know why.. She knows our order, and asks either hot or cold. She is the ONLY one that will have make a Philly Cheesesteak for me, and she knows how I like it. She also makes my mini #7 perfectly. She is very kind and pleasant and always send me little notes on my wrapper bag, which makes my day. I called and talked to her tonight to let her know how much I appreciate her and her kindness.
