Kababji Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

This place has no respect for its customers, DO NOT GO HERE!! I ordered 6 shawarmas and realized later that I got 4, so I called them back to make sure I payed correctly. They charged me for 4, so I ordered 2 more and went back to pick them up. I get a call from the owner at 11PM, well past closing time, telling me to never comeback. He felt insulted that I asked the price again and apparently didn't pick up the last 2 shawarmas. The thing is, I did picked them up because I have proof of two different transactions for the shawarmas on my card. Also, confirming the price again should not be an issue if I already paid for the food. It is extremely unprofessional to not only call back a customer after you are closed, but to also berate them for no apparent reason. Alhamdulillah 🤲🏾 this was my first time eating here and WOW 🤩 what delicious food! The place is small but the food had BIG FLAVOR you might not notice it unless you’re looking it’s attached to a convenience store.

Mohammad is so kind and welcoming. I ordered the spicy chicken kabab platter everything was seasoned so beautifully. The salad it comes with was perfect just enough dressing with plenty of veggies and spices. The chicken kebab was so tender and flavorful even the rice was seasoned great usually when you get rice that comes with a platter it’s mediocre and flavorless but not this rice. The Kebbe was sooo good the outer shell had a nice crunch to it much better than the ones I’ve had and all seasoned so well those are my favorite. We've only been here once, on the way to Hartford Bradley Airport. There is no seating, we got takeout and ate it at the airport. The food was very good. Sorry I can't say exactly what the food was because my spouse ordered and she said she told the guy to give us whatever was freshest and best at that time. I had a wrap, as shown in photos. I think it was lamb. I say it was very good because it tasted good, gave me no gas, and no other intestinal problems later on if you know what I mean. That's my criteria for food while traveling.
