On January 21, 2023 I paid $11.17 for a cup of coffee and some condescending attitude from the manager who took my order. As soon as I paid for the order he told me "you'll have to wait I need to brew more" with the most condescending tone you could imagine. Not the best way to talk to your customers. I walked away and waited 10 mins and then asked if it was ready he then condescendingly told me " well, you asked for no room, so we have to brew more". I guess I'm not supposed to ask for what I pay for? Nor communicate if I need room for cream?
Instead of giving me a full fresh cup he gave me the last of the other pot and and topped it off with the new pot. Great! When I asked for the breakfast roll I ordered the woman behind him said "oh we don't have anymore of those". I said "OK, I'm good, lets just forget it" and at that point I left. The manager never offered anything, just stood there. Coffee was gross as you would have expected after the old pot was toped off with the new pot. It tasted like how a 7-11 smells.
There was only one other customer in line during this time. The manager took her order after mine and got her baked goods without ever communicating my food order to anyone or doing it himself like he did for the customer behind me. I received nothing for the $11.17 spent here as I threw away the coffee, I had to wait for and never received the breakfast roll, I paid for. Hate to do this but “ MANAGER MAT” is terrible and argumentative… it’s disgusting ! I’ve literally bought my drinks here everyday since they opened this spot but now they have a guy that works here that literally complains about my order via drive thru saying that he will have to charge extra becuase my order is “ highly customizable” UM WHAT?? since when do you talk to customers like that and try to discourage them from the drinks they normally get and then threaten to charge extra????
