I recently visited this establishment, hoping for a quality dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell far below expectations. From service to food quality, every aspect of the visit was disappointing.
I ordered a seafood platter, anticipating a fresh and well-prepared dish. However, what I received was completely unacceptable. The seafood had an overpowering, unpleasant odor, resembling sewage. Upon inspecting the fish, I found it heavily coated in an excessively thick layer of breading—so much so that there was barely any actual fish inside. What little fish was present was completely flavorless and appeared undercooked. The shrimp was raw, and the calamari was burnt beyond recognition.
When I raised my concerns with the server and requested to speak with a manager, the response was shockingly dismissive. The manager, instead of addressing the issue professionally, simply stated, "Everyone else is eating and happy, so what is your complaint?" This complete disregard for food quality and customer experience was unacceptable. When I further expressed my concerns about the freshness and preparation of the seafood, the manager made an absurd remark, saying, "If you want fresh seafood, you should live by the ocean." Given that this restaurant is in Springfield, Massachusetts, such a statement was both unprofessional and nonsensical.
Ultimately, I refused the food due to its inedible state. My son, who only had a simple juice and a small entrée, was charged $13.11. Despite my frustration, I still left a tip, as I understand that servers work hard. However, this does not excuse the restaurant’s complete lack of quality control, proper food preparation, and basic customer service etiquette.
This was, without question, one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I have ever had. The food was subpar, the service was dismissive, and the management was entirely unwilling to address customer concerns in a professional manner. I strongly advise others to avoid this place unless significant...

She kept rushing me and didn’t let me finish before she said “I’ll be back i’ll be back” i was shocked.she came back and i asked her if there was also rice available and she told me “YES? look behind you they ordered shrimp fried rice” I obviously wasn’t going to stare at other peoples plates while i was sitting infront of them? then she left i waited another 10 minutes and she asked us again what we wanted. i just wanted to know what the bag of seafood came with. i’ve been treated beautifully here before but this day was just not okay. i had to get up and leave i refused to eat here. very unfortunate that one person ruined my experience! Read moreI'm always skeptical when I walk in to a restaurant on memorial day weekend and they are not slammed. 20 years in the industry and this was a surprise. The food was good, but the crab was overcooked and the king crab leg was way overcooked. The shrimp were a solid choice for me head off, somehow not over cooked and delicious. The portion size for the Friday special is good if you like pasta. I got the Cajun, medium, and the garlic butter mixed. Surprisingly the chicken tenders my domestic partner had were great, and they have the good battered french frys. The service wasn't great nor was it awful , it was really just me. we spent 115$ before tip my son had a pound of snow crab with potatoes and corn in garlic butter and he loved his food. Overall I would say that it's a solid B on food, C on service, B+ on price to portion...
