We were just looking for Filipino food that our daughter could have while she's at school, and this place turned out to be an amazing surprise! We ordered the pancit bihon with veggies, and that was so good. It had lots of vegetables that were still crunchy and not soggy. Our daughter had their chicken adobo plate, and THAT was so good. It definitely reminded me of my mom's adobo. The big WOW was their sisig. We ordered it spicy, but it wasn't too spicy that it overpowered the sisig. The pork was just right- tender but with pops of crunch from the crispy skin. It's normally served with lemon wedges, but this didn't need them. It had just enough of the sour already added. We finished with a halo-halo, and that was full of yummy flavors and textures, too. Although it did take a little while for the food, it was WELL worth the wait. The prices were reasonable, especially for how much we enjoyed the food. We're definitely making this a must-eat spot whenever we're...
Read moreI have only tried one dish. I intend to go back and explore the menue. Good things: Very clean. Service is also quick. Staff is very friendly. Definitely a family vibe. I had pork menudo(not at all like the familiar Mexican). It was rich and deep in comfort food land. The pork was like butter. It came with a generous portion of rice. $9 The not so good: Cheap(like REALLY cheap) plastic fork and knife in a plastic sleeve with a tiny napkin. I was served in a divided covered "to-go" plastic tray. About 5x8in. I hope they start serving on plates and in bowls. It would help the experience. Lastly, there was a lot of oil floating on the really delicious gravy/sauce. I think it is worth a try. It is all scratch made. Lumpia is spot on. They have good flan to finish with too! And it is bargain. I'm 220lbs. I couldn't...
