Mel-O-Cream Donuts — Restaurant in Springfield

Despite the naysayers reviews, I tried them twice at this location on North Grand. I can swear to you the quality has been perfect on both visits. The second visit I was given long johns instead of the creme filled as requested but still all was super fresh and tasty!

Update: The owner replied to my post within an hour of it being posted! Excellent work Sir! I did stop by and explained the issue on my prior visit on Monday and was given fresh donuts by an extremely nice and helpful employee. I have added the missing star to this review and cannot reccomend Melo-cream...

This location finally got fresh tasting donuts again, after a long time of what tasted like day old donuts. Unfortunately, they can't seem to get an order correct on numerous occasions of a 2 donut order. When returning incorrect donuts today, cashier was outright rude & sarcastic when both donuts were not what was ordered. Time to find a new donut shop until employee is not working there. Will never come back again!!!! Employees are very rude and mean! They are constantly cursing in front of children too, this used to be a family friendly place! and they have an attitude the whole time and constantly roll their eyes at you!, donuts are stale and tasted terrible how can they pass those off as fresh!
