Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield

Most the other negative reviews are correct. I thought I would give them a chance again since I've ordered here bf. When I arrived, after already when my pizza was supposed to have been done it was not and I had to sit and wait for another 20 minutes. In that time sitting in the store I got a good view of what was going on. Seemed like the girl in charge was "trying" but mby it was just the crew she was working with and her not having enough influence or a backbone to straighten them out. She seemed far outnumbered in the correct mindset needed to run the place. She asked aloud to the other employees where an order was and I could tell from the responses she received she was not respected by the staff. So mby my complaint falls solely on her? Not quite I don't believe but it would probably be a start. Next as I was sitting and waiting I noticed NO ONE except her was wearing gloves and handling every pizza to put them together! Now u say "oh u can't make a pizza wearing gloves" I would find that hard to believe and in no way shape or form true in my experience, and to answer that then I would say there should have definitely been a was sink right where everyone was handling pizzas and toppings but no one seemed to wash their hands between making pizzas in the time I was there and there were several done. It just seemed very unsanitary in this store. After I finally received my pizza and got bk to eat it we found that the pizza was not even cut thru all the way so we had to tear it apart and the crust under the toppings from the center being the soggiest out to the crust. We were very disappointed as my wife and I both really like Papa John's but we will not be going back to this...

Ruined my entire Papa Johns experience and i will never even walk into another one because the service was so bad...to start out we were a delivery order they were prompt but the pizza was so soggy you couldnt pick it up so my husband called to let them know and is first called a liar then is hung up on when i called i was also hung up on and cussed at then the final call a rude female who claimed to be manager cussed and screamed at me so i came into the store where the supposed manager cant even figure out how to do a refund(sounds like a properly trained manager to me) oh yeah while we are trying to the refund the douche who hung up on us tried to come at my husband like he was going to do something... the biggest idiots i have ever met in my life i hope to never again deal with ignorance of that magnitude and btw we never got the refund after waiting 30 minutes in the store while she was on hold to try to figure out how to do our refund. Idiocracy at its finest at Papa Johns...

Last experience with this Papa John's was horrible but everyone has a bad night, thought i would give them another try, my mistake. Ordering was easy online, had a coupon, that too was easy to add. That was the good part of this order. Delivery time was1 1/2 to 2 hours, seems a little excessive but ok, I can wait. Had the tracker so I knew when to expect them, since I'm at work. 1 hour later it says out for delivery, I'm happy going to be early. WRONG. 45 min later I get my order, the store is 7 blocks away. The driver had the Pepsi in with the hot items, so not only was the Pepsi warm and the food cold, the food boxes were smashed. Ok I'm a big girl, I can handle a little smashing of my food, not like I'm paying for it. OH YEAH I AM. Needless to say the order wasn't right either, wanted light sauce, sauce was so heavy my crust tore when i picked it up. Do yourself a favor order from somewhere who wants...
