So I usually order the mango dragonfruit base with the dragonfruit inclusions on the side. This morning when I went to order my usual. Apparently the manager at the Republic rd location in Springfield told the employee that was working the drive through they can't do that anymore. I asked why cause I had been getting it like that for a couple of months now. The nice employee said the manager just made the decision. Then the nice employee asked me if I still wanted to get the order I said yes thinking ok well at least I'll still get the inclusions. To my surprise there was no inclusions. So, I got ripped off. You know it's disheartening when you over charge people for drinks and when they find a way to make it cheaper. You turn around and screw them out of ingredients. 1 large mango dragonfruit base cup will make roughly 7 to 8 drinks 7 Xs 6.65 is almost $47.00. The birthday cake pops or the chocolate pops are 2 for 3.50 at Walmart. At Starbucks they are like 4 bucks for 1 smdh. The employees are absolutely beautiful and nice people. However the manager is a different story. You owe me Mr. or Mrs. manager for the inclusions. Does the owner not even care? Do they not know how to run it? Do they never think "oh I just hired new baristas today maybe I should go have them make coffee for me so I know they are doing things correctly!" - I've come to this location since it opened and they have produced a good coffee ... Twice... Today ordered a caramel latte - it didn't taste at all of caramel, it tasted burnt even through the milk, and had a sour fruit/carrot after taste. I'll just park and walk into the price cutter location from now on and pray they can make a coffee. Read moreBy far one of the worst Starbucks in town, also don't let the overall rating fool you as a few employees have come on here and skewed the rating by adding 5 star reviews. This should be used mainly for customer experience, not employee work experience as there are other platforms for that. This store takes FOREVER and it's not because they're busy it's because the staff can't stop talking in stead if working. The staff claim they try to make a " meaningful experience" with the customers but this translates to talking non stop while the drinks turn cold in the que.
