The subway series The Philly was not good and the half i ate actually messed my stomach up. I threw the other half away and hoped the Bella Mozza would be much better to make up for the bad Philly. Well it definitely was better but a little skimpy. I'm sure I'll eventually find something i really like. Now, the service.. I'm a really patient guy but after the third straight visit with visibly irritated employees i figured it was time to comment. I've had several different unacceptable things happen at the Springfield location. From telling be they were closed when i walked in about 35 minutes before the posted closing time. They were actually smiling as they lied to my face and never stopped walking and walked intonthe back out of sight after i asked what time they close now. The app wasn't letting me use a promo so i went in and that's what i got. I've also been chastised for coming in and walking up to the counter a couple of minutes before the time i got on the app was up. It was said in sort of joking way but almost as if they were wagging their fingers at me. It would if been kinda funny if they hadn't said this to the guy who walked in ahead of me as well and had said something like this before. When yiu keep saying something your not joking. They really don't want you walking in before THEY are ready for you. And even more funny was the fact that his and mine were sitting on the back counter in plain view as we both found out when tgey handed the orders over to us. Then yesterday i go in a couple of minutes early and no one was in site. I waited several minutes before anyone came out. They were again visibly irritated that someone was in the store despite it being the middle of the day. She never smiled while asking me to confirm my order instead of asking me for my name. She handed me the bag with both my hit philly and the cold Bella Mozza together. I asked her if i could have another bag and her response was to ask if tge one i had was ripped? Still not smiling looking irritated. First off i was irritated that she just didn't say "sure np" or something of the sort. She didn't like giving me another bag and i even told her one reason i wanted another bag. She seemed to not be listening. Anyway there just wasn't any good reason to challenge a customer over an extra bag. This is the only Subway close to me but I've already started getting my philly at Domino's and i can try Jersey...
Read moreWent here for lunch break. They made my entire sandwich then when I went to pay with my e-gift card scan Daniel the manager said his machine won’t scan those and threw my sandwich away. There is 25 dollars on there and he wouldn’t/couldn’t take it. He basically was just like sorry you gotta go now and I told him I’m sorry but that really isn’t how this should work I have done all things correct and am willing to pay with my gift card which is appropriate and shouldn’t be my fault because his machines don’t work that I can’t eat my lunch it was $6.57. I felt that if they can’t take my payment on their account it should be given instead of wasted in the trash and he said can’t help you next and continued on with th either customers. At which point I told him I’m not leaving I’ll try to figure it out as this wasn’t even for me it was for a coworker. Daniel continued to not care or be helpful agreeing that you all system of e-gift cards sucks and never works and he deals with a lot of frustrated customers on this. Again really not my issue. Read moreOrdered a sub online and they forgot to put my cheese on it so i called the restaurant and worked out a competition he then calls me back and tells me they reviewed the cameras and said they put cheese on it then proceeds to call me a liar after I told him i would take a pic and send it to him, i would've brought it back if i wasn't on crutches he then tell me he doesn't want my business and to never come back up there all this is coming from their GM but to go to that length of disrespect over some cheese is wild I've never been talked to like that by a restaurant employee in my life and he's lucky i can't make it up there to see if he would've kept that same attitude face to face all over their mistake of not making my order right Jersey Mikes is better anyways butbi hope one day ill run into that GM and see if he keeps...
