I dined in this evening with my family, and I was welcomed graciously by a host named Jessica I believe. We were then served drinks by a cute blonde server because our server had quite a few guests of her own, and from my understanding the kitchen was having some trouble. Savannah was on top of everything, making sure to keep us updated on our order, apologizing for the wait, making sure we didn’t need anything. I’ve worked in the service industry for 15 years in management and I can assure you, your front of house staff is absolutely amazing. I observed the host helping wash bar dishes, run food, grabbing extra napkins for tables, and going above and beyond. Savannah and Jessica truly made our visit as pleasant as possible, even with the difficulties with the kitchen. Now that i’ve gotten the positive out, i’d like to focus on one of the most flabbergasting things I have ever experienced in ALL of my experience. As my family and I were getting our things together to leave our dining experience, the kitchen manager (Ricardo i believe) came up to the bar and started telling the host that she was fired, to which she politely replied that he does not have the authority to fire her. There was a language barrier between the KM and the FOH staff, as he is not fluent in english. My spouse is hispanic and i volunteered her to translate for them, as Ricardo was getting pretty aggressive. Ricardo expressed that Jessica and Savannah offended him to some capacity, so he believed he could fire them and yell at them. Now here’s the crazy part, as it turns out Ricardo was drunk, as in drinking on the job, and he went to sleep in his truck. That’s the reason our food (and everyone else in the restaurant) waited 45+ minutes for our 9” pizza and order of 6 wings. The food was great, but that’s because the FOH girls jumped in the kitchen due to Ricardo’s lack of pride for the kitchen he runs. I am honestly just shocked that in an establishment like this, with an amazing staff, that you are allowing the kitchen manager to act as if her were a 16 year old child, working his first job in the kitchen. If you need a new kitchen manager, please feel free to ask...
Read moreSorry to say this dining experience was awful in every way. The service was non-existent, the waitress was so timid she could hardly greet us and pretty much said nothing to us from the time we arrived until the time we left. Had to flag her down for water - this was the only interaction except for when she brought the food and bill, which may not sound that crazy until you understand that we were there for nearly two hours waiting on one appetizer (12 wings) and one 12" pizza. This was during a Saturday afternoon and they were not busy. My wife and I love wings, we eat them all the time. The wings at this place are hands down some of the worst wings I have ever had in my entire life. We ordered plain buffalo sauce, and they claim that these wings are smoked which is laughable. There was not even a hint of smoke in these wings, which we ordered extra crispy. They were flavorless, tasted freezer burnt, and I was shocked at how flavorless the actual chicken and the sauce were. Truly hard to comprehend. My eyes were seeing sauce, but I was tasting a rubbery, unsauced wing - like a Twilight Zone of sorts. The pizza would have been okay if it had come with the toppings it was supposed to have. We ordered the Scrum pizza from the menu and it arrived after about an hour and 20 minutes with no sausage. At this point, we were so ready to get out that we chose not to even mention this and just asked for our check and left. Saying we were disappointed would be the understatement of the century and it was clear that other patrons (who I assume were first time visitors) were as displeased as we were. We saw other plates and bowls of untouched food on vacated tables and heard mumbles from another couple that walked in at the same time as we did about the poor food and service. Please take your business elsewhere and don't put yourself through the frustration and disappointment...
Read moreBelow par experience. Walked in at “dinner time” which was around 6pm. First 15 minutes of our experience was great. Was greeted at our table and was offered a drink and food menu and everything was going as planned (with 3 children, under 1 year old). Drinks come and appetizer follow and everyone is happy. Kids getting a little fussy by now but we are still holding it together. We put in our pizza orders and wait patiently for around 45 minutes. Kids are still doing good but we have 3 ticking time bombs with very little left on the clock. Two more tables are seated, greeted and served food before we get our pizzas. Now we are a little confused. “Where are our pizzas?” It’s been around an hour at this point. Still no sign of our main dish and no refills on drinks. Hangry, Thirsty, and 3 ticking time bombs = not happy parents. Still waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Another waitress comes by and explains the situation. “The oven can only take 6 pizzas at a time” to which I add, we only ordered 5 so how does that work. Still waiting after having been told they will be out shortly. Our waitress comes by “it will be a few minutes, sorry for the wait.” She comes back to give us our tickets which has the checks mixed up, and still no pizzas. By this time our wives have taken the kids out the car to tend to their needs as we wait for the arrival of our food. Finally, we go to the register and ask to speak to the owner who is “unavailable” to come out and speak to us. To then be told that I will call the cops on you if you don’t pay your tab, that only had a 10% discount for an hour and a half wait for food. Ridiculous. As we left she decided to follow us out into the parking lot to take our license plate numbers. Oh did I say this was a below par experience? It was an APPALLING experience is...
