Update: The app issue seems to be better. Wait times are still an issue in the evenings. Waited for 20 minutes for 3 drinks and BOGO coney. New pic of the coney; for as long as I waited the coney sure looks like it was made in a hurry. Asked for easy ice in all drinks and as always they give extra ice and no mustard packets as requested. Please someone straighten out this sonic once and for all!
This has to be the worst sonic in SGF. We went through the drive thru on 6/11 at 900PM to get 2 drinks. We had to use the DT because their app was turned off. When we get to the speaker we get the greeting 'You'll have to wait 10 minutes', no response to if 10 minutes to order or 10 minutes to get drinks which is the standard wait time in the evenings anymore. We drove off and went to the W Battlefield location.
There is one girl that is always working when the app is off, the outside lights are off, they stop responding to orders at the stalls and her service is absolutely horrible.
I understand being short staffed but 3 cars in the DT and 2 in stalls should not be overwhelming for at least 3 workers unless you're more concerned with doing closing tasks.

Read moreThe food is okay. Nothing special for a fast food. We usually order on the app, and they're alright with timing. The shakes and blasts are sometimes poorly mixed, leaving the few toppings they add in the bottom of the cup. This visit, they put the toppings for my shake in my husband's, which I was lucky enough for him to share with me.
There was one visit where we checked in and the screen said the usual "__ is on the way with your order". After about 5 minutes, the screen went away and we were still without our slushes. We had to press the button and remind them that we were here, and our slushes were somewhat melted when we finally got them 15 minutes after checking in.
The employees are nice, and you can't really blame the underpaid teenagers for not being ecstatic all the time. I can't even fault them for sometimes mixing up our shake toppings. I just wish we could get our overpriced but mediocre fast food a...
Read moreI pressed the red button, and the screen said the red button has been activated, we will be with you shortly. I waited 10 minutes and watched many other cars come and go. I got out of my car and went inside and stood there until somebody noticed me and asked what I needed. I asked if anybody was going to take my order, that I had been waiting 10 minutes. A couple of minutes later, somebody came out to my car and took my order. I guess the screen and speaker system never did work. Then, they overcharged me by $4 and had to get the manager to refund my credit card. That took another 10 minutes. They really need to get their act together. I highly suggest going through the drive-thru so they can not ignore you. Update: After I got home, I looked at the receipt, and they screwed up the refund! I got double-charged!
