Victor's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Springfield

I love this place, anytime of day!!! being from cali I was so happy when they opened, the food is always amazing, I'm making the transition to become vegetarian, and their veggie burrito is soo good, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. Some of my favorites are Asada fries regular and street tacos asada, pollo, Asada burrito Veggie burrito Horchata (it doesn't bother my stomach like some places in Ohio do) Tres leches cake (make sure there's leche in the bottom anywhere u go)

They decorate for holidays Halloween. Was awesome can't wait to see what they do for Christmas.

If there's anything negative I can say it would be bring back the salsa bar with carrots y jalapenos.

I like to dine in at this restaurant and if I do go home the food is still warm when I get there. I can call in ur food to pick it up...

The staff.. AMAZINGthey are patient friendly and kind

My mouth is salivating just thinking about the delicious food from Victors taco shop, I'll be there...

So today is November 30th 2021 I ordered my food probably around 10:00 p.m. maybe a little before maybe a little after give or take we ordered two chicken quesadillas one with only lettuce the other just chicken and cheese and I asked to have a small amount of rice substitute the pico de gallo guacamole sour cream and lettuce they said okay my wife wanted a side of nacho cheese. Instead as you seen the picture we got a very skimpy poorly made chicken quesadilla 799 a piece and instead of giving Sinatra cheese on the side we still received all the sides it seems like and queso cheese that's watery and a bag of nacho chips that we didn't order that were stale unless they come free and I'm not aware it was our first time eating there and it will probably be our last but I am going to call and ask them to replace my order or refund it one I was terribly disappointed and felt like this is just not what I should get out of a homemade authentic...

Overall it was good... burritos & beans a little bland for me that's all. Just because I say that doesn't mean its not authentic food. My step-dad is Mexican & a chef & he made us aware there are different variations of Mexican food. Mexico is full of different regional types of cuisine from the city, rural, inland, North, South, & coastal regions. Then you have U.S. regional Mexican cuisine such as California, Texas, Florida, & Chicago to name a few. They have their own unique style (from taquerias to restaurants) so whether you go to Victor's Taco shop or LM restaurant down the street...they're both Authentic Mexican Food (yes, it's "real", just a different cuisine)...I'm glad Victor's is here & it's great that I can drive thru & get some mini tacos (taqueria style tacos) & my favorite drink HORCHATA......
