This place is brand new, lines are always long. We have been twice since the opening. This last time left me angry, drive through was slow and at both windows seemed confused on what was going on. We were given a bag and I noticed right away it wasn't right, the man at the window was rude and snatched the bag and handed us a new bag and as we confirmed our order the man slammed the window shut. We left only to find it was not our order, two completely different sandwichs. I called both the number on the receipt and the app and did not get anyone, very very maddening. I just through money away because we had to get something else to eat, so no, I'm not a happy customer at all and I love Wendy's, but this is not how you treat your customers.
Edit, still two days later no calls have been returned, wrong order has not been corrected. Customer service is garbage!
Edit, now over a week later, absolutely zero response about our order. No one has bothered to call me back or to correct my order. So I guess this is what one can expect from this Wendy's. What I can't believe is how poor of quality the building is. 2023 and the lobby is 10 percent capacity and the noise level sounds like a rock concert. The sounds from the kitchen are even worse. My number one complaint isn't the food or service; it's the lack of attention to detail to make the building an enjoyable place to experience while eating a meal. How hard would it be to put up some acoustic tiles and deaden the amplified echoes? If this restaurant fixed the noise level I would give it 4 star and over time as the employees who work there believed that a post like this could also improve their quality of life then I bet the food and service rating would be bumped to a 5 star review. Please upgrade your facility and I believe you as an owner along with your staff will realize I'm 100% correct. Good luck in Springfield. We walked in and placed an order at the self-service tablets for a single item: one chicken wrap. After waiting over 15 minutes for this, while seeing rogue chicken nuggets and fries strewn around the lobby counter, we waited patiently for our food. I noticed multiple employees remove their gloves and continue working without handwashing in our less than 20 minutes there. When our food was finally ready, the front counter employee was counting a stack of ones and paused halfway through to grab the chicken wrap - handling money in one hand and food in the other. He proceeded to place the money and food down on the counter to grab a bag, and that's when I decided the contamination risk was too high and I no longer wanted to put that food in my body. What appeared to be a manager came over to assist with the refund for us, and I explained to them what the problem was. They had no concern at all. I will not be returning.
