I had to write corporate unfortunately because of my terrible experience at this Wendy's. It saddens me a lot because the owner is a nice man but the workers are ignorant, rude, and lying to push sales. Heres what I wrote to corporate.
"The Wendy's at 1312 West Kearney Springfield Missouri 65802 has on 2 separate occasions refused to give me the frosties I was supposed to get with my key tags. The advertisement for these key tags is "one free jr frosty per transaction per visit per keytag with ANY purchase". I have 4 key tags and they DO NOT specify an amount or number of items you must buy to get your frosties. However on two separate occasions this Wendy's has tried to make me purchase 4 items to get my 4 frosties. They are changing the words to force people to buy more food then is required for the free frosties PER KEYTAG. They told me that its per item and that they wont give me the frosties unless I purchase the same amount of items. They seem to be ignorant to what the word transaction means because they dont understand that it means I can spend a dollar if I want to (although I always spend much more) and I would still get all 4 of my frosties. I have had a terrible day as it is and I just wanted to get my food and go home and rest. I'm extremely disappointed and I've been crying since I left because I had to argue with 2 different people (the worker and the manager) and still had to leave with nothing. I'll never go back to that Wendy's. Please teach them customer service skills and how to treat customers. I'd also like to receive the frosties I was meant to have. If this is what corporate is teaching their workers to say, it is false advertising and bully tactics and I'd like to speak with whoever's at the top of everyone. If not please correct...
Read morePLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I placed a moblie order. I arrived and went into the lobby 10 minutes after. I waited in a line of three people. The customer at the front was yelling and cursing the person at the register for about 7 minutes. I felt very uncomfortable, so I went through the drive thru. I told them I had placed a moblie order and they said they didn't have it. They had to look for two minutes and the manager finally found it and then stated I had to go get it through the lobby. I parked, waited for about 5 minutes in my car (long enough for the first customer who was yelling to leave). I went back inside and I waited 35 minutes and it was still not DONE. The man at the counter was slow, with no help. People in the lobby were waiting 10 minutes for food when I STILL hadn't gotten mine. I finally asked the man for a refund, I was very nice and polite about it. The guy said he had to get his manager. The employees in the back were making rude comments towards me and how I went through the drive thru. I finally got a refund from the management. I only ordered a biggie bag. I will never ever return here ever again! This is seriously the worst customer service I have ever received and I can't believe they were talking poorly about me when I was very polite and respectful about all of it.

Read moreAlright it's time for a realistic and thoughtful review of this place. I've been here many times as I live close. I have also worked fast food many times before and can usually tell what is reasonable and average for a fast food place. Wrong orders, food not the way people want it, missing items, not regularly cleaned lobbies, it all makes sense. However, the one thing that has stood out from me at this place is the staff. The management here is very lackluster. The amount of times I'll just be in the lobby staring at people walking by and not getting helped by a worker is crazy considering management should be having workers tend to the customers over anything else. It's the same with drive through. For example, you'll pay for food pull up and just sit there. They won't confirm your order and let you know what's going on or anything which just seems like bad service. Sitting at a window for 20 minutes after having your order taken is not my idea of fun. So overall it's actually very frustrating trying to come here just to get food since it's such a hassle to even just order or talk to a worker. Because of this I will likely not be...
