Wendy's — Restaurant in Springfield

I will NEVER return to this particular restaurant. Stopped in for lunch after shopping for trucks all day and just wanted a quick bite to eat. My friend and I ordered our food and as we waited, we watched as two more groups of people who ordered after us got their food and left as our sandwiches sat out on the counter getting cold. I finally had to ask if we could have our burgers and the lady acted like she totally forgot our order was just sitting there. The grand daddy of them all is before eating I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and was absolutely horrified when I went inside. There was diarrhea! Yep human poopoo all over the bathroom floor and the toilet, I almost vomited. I immediately went to the counter and notified staff and the lady basically fluffed me off like she didn't care and did not seem the least bit concerned. As I was walking back to our table I almost slipped on the floor. When I looked down to see what I stepped in... Well yeah you guessed it. More human feces that someone had tracked all through the dining room. At this point I completely lost my appetite and just threw away my food and left. Had to wash my shoes off in a water puddle in the parking lot prior to getting in my car. The lack of concern from the employees after notifying them of the human feces in the bathroom, as well as the dining room, was enough for me to never warrant a return visit to this establishment. I just went through the drive-thru. I ordered. My order was a Crispy chicken but biggie bag, no sauce, with a sweet tea, no ice. I was given the total and moved forward. After moving forward, (there were 5 cars in front of me), I realized the amount I was told didn't sound correct. So, when I got to the window, I asked if they got it as a Crispy chicken BLT. The guy very audibly HUFFED out of frustration, turned and YELLED: I need that whole meal remade. (You can't just add the stuff and fix the cost? NOTHING was handed to me at this point.) He comes back to the window, with correct amount (I'd already handed him the money). He hands me the food and says: HERE. (Hands me my food and drink-WITH ICE, and specifically said no ice). I didn't even BOTHER since he was SO rude about his mistake with the sandwich. I so not think I'll be returning to THIS store. There was ZERO reason for the attitude, as I was VERY polite about...

Food is like any other wendy’s, not amazing, but not terrible. Service was very mediocre, the lady who took our order sounded & acted like she didn’t want to be there and just wanted us to leave. The building itself was filthy, there was sauce all over the soda machines, dirty tables everywhere and food all over the floors. The entire time we ate there was a wet floor sign over a spill at the soda machines but nobody ever cleaned it up. One of the employees also had their children there and let them run around, almost running into us while we ordered, and just generally being noisy and throwing items around. Generally a poor experience all around. Even the bathrooms were disgusting. It wasn’t even busy. For the entire 30 minutes we ate nobody walked in the front door. Maybe a couple drive thrus but the employees seemed more interested in “sweeping” while texting on their phones than doing their job of actually...
