Upon calling to place an order - I’d asked to speak with a Chinese woman I had assumed was the owner of the restaurant. I was arrogantly informed by this man (that couldn’t stop speaking to his background) that he was the “owner” & not her. I always prefer to order with her because she always makes sure the portions & quality of the seafood is amazing. I asked him about the quality of the food as it’s not always the best & he replied “yeah” quick & short … included a little “tone” in his response that I didn’t agree with. Now, this order was for my daughter’s 4th birthday so I was respectful & continued with the purchase. I wasn’t the individual that picked up the order so I didn’t view the food until it arrived & I was dissatisfied by the appearance. The children were so hungry we decided that we’ll see how everything tasted & to our dismay they didn’t want to eat it. The adults tasted some & it was awful - $131.70 wasted. It’s very disappointing to have an “owner” that’s supposed to care about the customer service & individuals that help him receive income. He wanted to make it clear in the cockiest tone that he in fact owned the restaurant & I’m here to speak in this review that maybe he shouldn’t. Their father didn’t want to go through the hassle of attempting this issue to be corrected so we through everything away. I’d also stated that I wanted the usual & he attempted to mention that I hadn’t be there since June when in fact I was there in December ☠️. I’m not aware of why the last time I ordered is of importance because the Chinese woman knows that I frequently eat there & I always spend good money ! Read moreI’m traveling for work and stationed in Jacksonville. I made the 30 minute drive to Springfield because I was so excited to get some good seafood. I ordered 1 pound of king crab and 1 pound of shrimp. Garlic butter only because I don’t like spicy. I picked up my order and drove back to Jacksonville. When I arrived to my room and opened the food..they gave me the wrong order! I paid 70$ for maybe 8 shrimp, two crab legs, and about 20 pieces of sausage. I don’t eat pork. To make it worse everything was soaked in spicy sauce. So I couldn’t even pick out the shrimp and crab legs because it was too hot. Therefore I spent 70$ for nothing. When I called they told me they could credit me for a half pound of shrimp the next time I come back. The lady on the phone even questioned me and said she bagged my order and it looked correct to her. so I sent her a picture of it to prove her wrong. I asked for a refund because I can’t eat this and she told me I would have to drive all the way back for them to put the money on my card. So disappointing. When I place the order they told me it was going to take them an hour long and if I wanted to wait for that I agreed. All I ordered was the 3 of calamari entree. I arrived there in an hour and my meal wasn't done. I was happy to wait but nobody at the place told me how long it was going to take. After waiting for an hour I asked to cancel my order because I had some place to be. They told me that would be another 10 minutes. Which I was pretty furious. That means my order wasn't even started until after I got there. So that means I waited all that time and my meal was not being prepared.
