Library is one of my FAVORITE Springville spots year round for the whole family, especially kids! Beautiful, clean space with lots of light, seating, and gorgeous fixtures above Weekly events like Story time (puppets, singing, pretend play, crafts) Tech! Reserve & renew books/videos/kits online. Check out at a kiosk and renew items. Return books on a conveyor belt. Summer Food Truck Rally after hours, then eat at the beautiful grounds and walk the kids to the playground. Kid Section! Light tables or tablets or puzzles with rotating activities, pretend play section, legos and magnet-tiles for building, comfy seats and even a Spanish sub-section. Summer kid events! Dinosaur day, petting zoos, Harry Potter balls, Star Wars Days, etc Check out their Kits which come in a bag with kid-friendly books and an activity on their favorite subjects Discovery Kits! Sewing, ukelele, telescope, chess, board games, bird watching and bugs, etc. Expertly curated shelves with recommendations for new books and relevant subjects in every section so you can “grab and go”. Request a book they don’t have online or at the front desk. Mine which are mostly for picture books are approved and checked out to me within 3wks. Good selection of tv series and feature films (love that the kid movies are in the children’s section so they don’t accidentally stumble on scary stuff, plus they’ve got entire collections of Bill Nye, Disney classics, Baby Sign Language, PBS shows, etc.)- you can check out 10 at a time! If you’re a homeschool mom or college student in need of a good study place, their private rooms are super clean and useful for quiet time We LOVE the library, and we think...

Springville Library is a very nice and we'll maintained space for all ages.

There is ample comfortable seating, which is a big plus for a library. Great for small groups to meet quietly, get some work done, read it socialize. Another big feature is the floor-to-ceiling windows which bring in a ton of natural light, and the interior design, with glass-walled computer and meeting rooms, allows the light to carry through the whole structure.

There are computers in several places, including a quiet computer lab (one of the glass-walled rooms). I have to say, the internet (desktop) and wifi speeds are both pretty slow, and there weren't very many people using computers this morning.

While lacking the big "pop" kids play attraction, there is a large book collection, small play spaces, and some computers for kid use.

The teen space is somewhat smaller, in comparison to the other areas of the library. If you have a teen, you know they can be kinda loud, and like to have their "own space", to some degree.

I live the outdoor terrace along the Hobble Creek. It is a wonderful place to sit outside and read or socialize. There is a nice bridge across the Creek to a small park (which needs some improvements), where you can walk down to the water.

The Springville Library is a great place, among the best assets...

The library has always been nice I have been going to that library since i was 6, but there was this one librarian that was like really annoying ok so i was trying to get a like book for my book report that i had to do and i was trying to check it out with my moms library card but i had forgot it and this happens a lot and i went to the front desk to check it out there and the librarian kept asking for my moms id like ok why would di have my moms id and your probably like wondering if you have been going there for a while i would have my library card and i do but it has so many fees because i went out of the country for a week and had forgot to turn in my library books and they charged me with late fees even though nobody had those books on hold and i would pay the fees of but there is like $20 in late fees and i am 12 so it takes me like a year no exaggeration to make $20 and if did make $20 i would spend it on my friends not a librarian that is mean to me and she was being such a biach like this girl would not let me check out a book and so i just left and for your information idk this ladies name but beware of a lady with brown hair and glasses she was the...
