Last Call Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Springville

I’m writing to formally report an extremely upsetting and disrespectful experience I had at your establishment. I recently visited your bar as a paying customer and was harassed by one of your employees in a way that made me feel targeted, disrespected, and ultimately unsafe.

While holding my friend’s drink (in addition to my own), an employee confronted me, clearly upset that I had two drinks in my hands. I calmly explained that one was for a friend and that I was not doing anything inappropriate. Rather than de-escalating, this employee took it upon herself to go out of her way, follow me onto the dance floor, and intentionally threw both of my drinks onto the ground. I was in complete shock and left the bar immediately because I didn’t feel safe or respected in that space.

I want to emphasize that I paid for those drinks and was minding my own business. There was no excuse for this behavior, and it reflects terribly on your staff and customer service. There are security cameras that can confirm what I’m saying, and I strongly urge you to review the footage and take appropriate action.

No customer should ever be treated with such aggression or disregard. I hope this matter is taken seriously, because as a local, I’ve supported your business—but I can’t continue doing so if this is how patrons are treated.

I would appreciate a response to this complaint and to know what steps are being taken to ensure this doesn’t happen...

I absolutely love this place! It’s hard to find somewhere in the nightlife scene where you can feel safe but the staff and security here are amazing. Most bars have maybe one security guard but Last Call has an entire security team that are excellent at de-escalating things if there’s ever any tension and are extremely fast at responding to any situations where someone needs to leave. (Don’t worry, there haven’t been very many problems that I’ve seen because the atmosphere is very positive but occasionally some people can be hot-heads with alcohol involved) I mainly go on weekends to dance and the security team is great about making sure people are being respectful and if anyone ever gets handsy the security is on top of it fast and the problem is always resolved. I always feel safe here because the staff really care about their patrons and want everyone to have a positive experience. The food and drinks are delicious and aren’t overpriced and the music is always great! Bingo and karaoke are fun and there are also pool tables and an outdoor area. This is hands down my favorite place to spend my free weekend nights with the great staff and super nice regulars that have become great friends! Food made my husband and I SICK and it seemed like a lot of the people in the bathrooms were getting sick also and not the drunk kind of sick. The mixed drinks are double the price or places around However the service and atmosphere was really good. Lots of dancing, karaoke and laughter. Best in the near by area. We did order our food just to not get half of it because “fryers were down” which we weren’t informed of until our food came out. But an hour after eating we got violently sick and had to leave.
