We ordered quite a bit of food, my son had a chicken quesadilla. As soon as he took a bite he spit it out and said that it tasted awful. I took a bite and the chicken was bad! It even had a funny color to it and smelled bad. I took it back to the counter and the supervisor was frustrated with me and had a very bad attitude. Reluctantly she remade another one with out chicken for me. Another customer over heard me and came up and voiced her concern about the chicken and that it smelled rancid. The supervisor went as far to taste the chicken and said no it tastes fine, I don’t know what your talking about. But five minutes later I see her pull the chicken off and remake an entire batch of new chicken. The churros had no sugar on them and I was nice and just went back and asked her if we could have different ones with sugar on them and she started throwing and slamming around trays. Another customer also had an issue with their order and took it back and she was very rude to them and takes off her headset and throws it at the male employee. I go to Del taco all the time in the state where I live and always have a good encounter and the chicken tastes normal. Last thing to add the bathroom smelled like death and it made me sick to be in there. I will not be returning to this location on my way through Utah ever again. It is not the customers fault that they have a bad dining experience it is up to the company and their employees to ensure satisfaction. You don’t yell at customers and tell them they are crazy or wrong, that is...
Read moreIt's Del Taco, so I'd say 3 stars is pretty good. Lunch time can get a bit crazy and cause you to run long on your break.
The food is typically decent, the store is usually kept in a good clean standard.
I hate their parking lot. I know it's not their fault for it's designed issues, but it's a muti-faceted problem. They have a busy turn in that cuts right across the exit for the drive thru, which I've seen several close calls for accidents at. The drive thru entrance is often congested and it backs up blocking in customers who are inside the store, so if you manage to get your food quickly inside, you might spend 10 minutes waiting to back out. Last but not least is the exit from the parking lot. You either are forced to make a right hand turn then jump across two lanes of traffic to make an immediate u-turn if you want to get back to the freeway, or you can go out of the south side parking lot exit and then you have to wait for the previously mentioned u-turners to be able to turn across the traffic.
Their is a Walmart just south of the deltaco which has a steady stream of people coming and going which further complicates this simple driving maneuver.
All in all it's good for a cheap bite to eat, but avoid it if...
Read moreThis is the last time I visit this location, however I know that my review will fall on deaf ears after reading one left a couple of weeks ago about a lady that got sick from the food. The obvious computerized auto response said "Thank you! That's what we like to hear" What a shoddy way to run a business.
For the 2nd time, I was chastised by a lady, I believe her name is emily, she identified herself as the assistant store manager.
The first time I went in simple to get contact information and find a good time to speak to them about setting up an arrangement for regular, early morning orders for my companies bi-weekly meeting. I didn't want to bother them at a bad time so I was trying to figure out when I could talk to them about it, as we bring in breakfast a couple of times a month for a crew of 20. She didn't really have the time of day for me.
This time she chewed me out for asking for 'a handful of inferno sauce' instead of providing an exact number. She said "I have no idea what a handful means" (yet every other location, as well as competitors seem to understand it).
Management should not treat customers in this manner. For this, you have lost not only my business, but my companies as well.
Cue the...
