TL;DR: manager is the worst, don't bother with this location.
Nick, the manager on duty the morning of December 1st is incompetent. Stopping just before 7 am, the doors were locked(sign says open at 5 am). The drive thru line is hazardously long. While checking the door, there is a gentleman who just came through the drive thru trying to get his correct change as the employee had short changed him.
This is no place for picking up an on-the-go order. I decide I really want coffee and get in the drive thru line, anyway. The girl at the window tells me they're short staffed and this is why the lobby is not open. My order is wrong and I don't realize it until I've driven a block down. Call to make sure they will have an open lobby to correct this. I get myself turned around and back to the store. Lo and Behold, the manager is "nowhere" to be found. He had stuck his head around the partition, seen his line of customers and ducked back around to not deal with anyone. Mindy, bless her soul, tried to get his attention. After 30 seconds of continually being ignored, both us customers and his employee, Mindy asks how she can help and corrects the mistakes. Mindy has a good head on her shoulders and should not be cleaning up her manager's messes.
Now you ask, this is just donuts and coffee, right? Right. It does not ruin the day to get the wrong donut. However, this is about the inconvenience to the customers and incompetence of Nick the manager. He has no customer service skills and I would dare to say no managerial skills as he was short staffed and couldn't properly open his store. Either they walked out or he does not have the ability to schedule appropriately.
Long story short, if you stop here, check your order before leaving. Same for your change as the register cannot count for...
Read moreThis morning I went to get my family breakfast. I had a LARGE ORDER and tried to go in the front door but it was closed, although said open. When I went to the drive thru I asked why, he said it was closed thats all and that's it. The guy taking my order struggled with hearing me so I slowed my voice down, never in frustration (later accused of giving them attitude). He kept screwing it up. What was I supposed to do. Next thing I know a girl comes on to finish my order, I'm confused at this point. I go to pay and add juice to my order and ask her to repeat my order because I has 2 people taking my order and I paid. I waited for about 10 minutes, could careless about that except felt bad for the people behind me. She basically threw my order at me with an eyeroll. I honestly had no idea what I did to get this kind of treatment especially after paying $25. I get home and my order is wrong. So, I called. 3 times they picked up but didnt say anything. Call back she answers. At that point I'm upset. I tried to not be frustrated with my recap of my experience and receiving my order but I was. She GOES OFF ON ME screaming telling me I cant treat people.that way. She says I was being rude and making fun of the guy who was first taking my order. I was not, I SLOWED DOWN MY VOICE so he could understand me. I was really PUT IN MY PLACE by the young girl at the cash register. In my defense he did keep sccrewong up my order. It was a total miscommunication and so much drama for my morning. Definitely...
Read moreThis Dunkin’ is exceptional. I often visit on my way to work and look forward to it every day. The staff are some of the kindest employees I’ve ever met at a chain restaurant. I always feel very welcome when I stop at this specific store, never like I am a burden or just another customer. The staff always seems excited to see you and will even ask your about your day. They are also very attentive to service, making sure you have everything you need for your order. They’ve never forgotten to give me a straw or cutlery, and have even gone as far as to offer me some extra napkins to keep in my car! These little things prove that the employees are willing to go the extra mile for their customers, and they deserve to be recognized for it. There is not a single time that I have felt neglected at this Dunkin location. Food service can be tough, and the fact that the staff treats customers with the utmost respect and more despite the hassles of day-to-day work is precious in this day and age. There’s a reason this location has the highest rating in the area. Thank you for brightening my day! Keep up the...
