I was denied service because I refused to take part in mask cult theater. (They always served me without a mask in the past during the ridiculous mask mandate). I was asked if I had a mask and I said "No I don't". The employee then tried to hand me a mask. He was not holding the mask by the ear loops. He was holding it by the part that would go over my face. How is it sanitary and good health practice to put something over my mouth and nose that was handled by another person? I told him "I don't mask". He said "Then I can't serve you". I said, "That's ridiculous" and left immediately. Apparently “science” doesn’t allow someone to order food but it does allow people to sit at tables talking (not eating) and walk out of the restaurant maskless as I had been witnessing for several minutes while I waited in line. Why aren't the employees watching EVERYONE and making sure people are wearing masks every time they leave their table? I stood in line maskless for several minutes. If masks are so necessary why isn't an employee standing at the door making sure everyone who enters is wearing a mask? Governor Pritzker's mandate is not law. Panda Express is engaging in discrimination. There are plenty of fast food places and restaurants in the area not engaging in mask cult theater. Those places will get...
Read moreThe design of this location is pretty poor considering how much traffic they get. Which would make sense why they would put priority on all the walkins instead of people who place orders ahead online. It took a half hour for my family meal to be ready, while I watched countless customers come in and order very large orders and get through the line quickly. Kind of defeats the purpose of an online order, and if I had known it would take a half hour before I made the online purchase, I would have gone to a REAL chinese restaurant, paid the same, and waited less for better food. I ended up sitting in the worst spot in the restaurant while waiting, which was the back by the bathrooms. The bathrooms here might actually be a safety hazard and I would strongly suggest that management get in front of it before people start getting sick, because the smell alone reminded me of C-Diff and was enough to ruin my appetite. Who knows, maybe its the plumbing, but whatever it is will keep me out of this location forever going forward. They were also completely out of hot mustard. Kudos to the staff for putting up with the madness that is this location. Really...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I came here after work to grab a bite to eat and we have never felt so discriminated against. We had ordered 2 orders of crab Rangoon and chicken egg roll and we didn’t see the egg roll in the bag and so we asked if we could get it as we paid for it. And this lady responded with “I’m pretty sure it’s in the bag I know I put it there” and I told my boyfriend I checked it’s not and Mind you we are dining in.. anyway this lady loudly responds “well wait cus I gotta check the camera” in front of everyone to hear like we are some kind of criminals. I have never experienced such horrible service and discrimination. Had I showed up in my scrubs with my RN badge, I would have been treated with more respect but that shouldn’t matter regardless. Panda Express should really teach their employees to treat their customers with dignity and respect no matter how they look or what race they are. That was just unacceptable and should be...
