I have only felt compelled to write a review for exceptional service one other time in my life. I say that because I'm lazy and never post reviews. However, the service that I received on Thursday November 25th and today, Black Friday can't and won't go unnoticed by me and my husband.
Thursday night my husband was unable to charge his phone, because the charging port at the bottom of the phone broke completely off. This happened just before 4:30 p.m. we hurried and ran up to the Verizon store and was greeted by Ebo. I have never in all of my life seen a representative that was so meticulous and took his time to make sure we were getting the best possible deal. I was ready for a phone upgrade as well, and wanted to do it that night since we were already there, but Ebo convinced me to hold off until Black Friday, because he might be able to get us even better deals. I can say with 100% honesty that I have never had another Verizon representative do that. They would have just taken the sale no matter what it was going to cost me.
Which brings me to today. Ebo told me what time his shift started so I would know when he would be there. While he was checking out all of Verizon's Black Friday deals, another representative Rocky came over and she and Ebo worked as a team to make sure that we were able to take advantage of any and all deals that applied to us. They were friendly, patient and hilarious. I will go as far as to say, that this morning was the best morning I've had since the beginning of March. I will not forget the work and time Ebo and Rocky put into helping me. To be quite honest, there were so many great deals going around by other cellular providers, I was entertaining the thought of switching over to one of them. If not for these two terrific Representatives at Verizon wireless, you most likely would have lost my family's business which you have had for almost 5 years. I want to make sure that Ebo and Rocky get the recognition that they both deserve. They are the reason why I will continue to be a Verizon wireless customer. Read moreWriting this review to warn others to NOT waste their time. Go to a Verizon CORPORATE store. I went to this location yesterday because all my iPhone needed was a new SIM card & this was the closest location to me & genuinely thought that I would be in & out. Ravina kept talking about my family plan & how she could help us save here & save there & that I might have to get a new iPhone if this new SIM card doesn’t activate & etc BUT she couldn’t begin the process with a brand new phone when I was willing to purchase a whole BRAND new phone, unless I switched up my entire plan? Apparently she was unable to fix my SIM card issue & I was there for nearly 3 HOURS. After figuring out they are actually a third party location & mentioning I will call & go to corporate she said corporate is not open on Sundays. Well, I went to the Verizon corporate store which is open on Sundays by the way, in Bloomingdale & I cannot believe I was issued a new SIM card & my phone was fixed in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES. I am baffled I wasted almost 3 hours at this location with absolutely no resolution. Read moreBeware- My "free" phone on a new line was almost $20/month and for 4 months Logan couldn't get the free promotion to work. I got on a chat with a live agent from corporate today (their name was Ice) and they resolved my issue within minutes, giving me the credits for what I paid so far for the free phone and adding the promotion I had signed up for so going forward this won't be an issue. Verizon service has been pretty good so this was frustrating to say the least... The home Internet is working well for us, too. Just be aware this can happen at this store and don't let the return period pass by w this issue or go elsewhere and you might avoid the possibility of feeling like an idiot for 3+ months, wasting time talking to reps from this store who for some reason couldn't figure this out. I spoke to Logan several times about this issue and other sales reps there told me to take it up with him. I was nice and copacetic until today. While Logan was nice, it was not a great experience tbh.
