We recently tried out this restaurant and I have a seafood and fish allergy. I was just going to get a drink and just let my husband try the fare but, I asked a few questions about how the food was prepared and if there was a chance of cross contamination. The person that was waiting on us explained that there was a good chance of it but if I stuck with items that were not prepared on the grill that I would be better off. He also explained that since they just opened that some equipment had not been used for fish or seafood yet, and that they were just cleaned if I wanted my food prepared that way also like the panini press. Also, I accidentally left my purse when we left and not only was the food well prepared and tasty but when another customer discovered my purse they called the police and had them take my purse to the station since there was no way for them to contact me. Kudos to the owner/manager for an all around job well done!!! We totally recommend this place. When I called back about my purse they let me know that it was at the St. Charles Police Station and I could pick it up there. All my stuff was there and I was happy as ever to get it back. I ordered delivery of a taco platter (3 tacos) and wanted to order a single tamale as well - have ordered this countless times before. There was no option for a tamale so I added a note to the order that if it was possible to add on for an additional charge that'd be great, obviously if not possible then not needed/no problem as order was for taco platter. When I received order I was given one taco and one tamale and charged $11. Food was completely cold, tamale was very dry and ends were hard. I called to have the situation resolved and was told "what do you want us to do" only to then be told there was nothing they could do and that was my order. I reached out to the delivery company and they were great, no questions asked, apologized and refunded my order. Again I wasn't looking for a refund, just the amount of food I ordered and was willing/fine with paying extra.    Read moreAfter getting to the restaurant with 3 of my 4 kids with me and seeing that the drive through line was pretty long, I opted to order online and have it delivered so I could take my kids home while we waited. I placed my order and it said it would take 25 min to arrive. I was tracking the order via UberEats and the driver got there and was waiting and the time kept getting extended. I was getting more and more frustrated with hungry kids! All of a sudden, after waiting an hour from the time I placed the order, I got an alert that my order was cancelled by the restaurant!! I am so angry and was forced to figure something else out, when it was almost my youngestsâ bedtime! Completely unacceptable! We live close by and often go here when we need to get a quick dinner but we will definitely be rethinking that decision next time....
