Walgreens — Local services in Geneva Township

Today the pharmacy tech @ the window was extremely rude. After calling to fill my rx earlier (there is ALWAYS some sort of confusion on their end BTW) and the pharm tech telling me it would be ready by this afternoon…I naturally went to retrieve it and the tech at the window said it won’t be ready until the 17th and then proceeded on trying to school me on my medication and why it cannot be filled today (not recognizing that I spoke w someone else earlier and they specifically told me to pick it up this afternoon and also not allowing me enough time to speak to tell her the 17th was ok)- totally felt judged & per usual frustrated as hell. It was ridiculous and unnecessary for the tech to speak over me repeating the philosophy on controlled substances- when I specially called and spoke with someone this morning and not to mention I’ve been on this rx for YEARS and understand / respect the importance the term “controlled substance” SO RUDE!!!!!

I would however like to give the male pharmacist w the accent a 5 star review as he has helped me significantly in the past!...

Highly rude dark haired Hindu pharmacy manager made my overall experience terrible and horrifying ..Sp here's this whole long story ok..I used to love this location because I would get my pain medication filled there every 2 weeks and the pharmacy let me pick up my prescription at its fill date at midnight and it was fast and easy , we'll the one Sunday night I dropped off my prescription at 6:30 pm only 6 hours before it's filled date but I dropped off early to make sure they had it In stock:.. We'll the Hindu lady pharmacist thinks I'm trying to fill early and says I can't fill this untill tomm morning sorry I said..excuse me? Why?I come here every 2weeks and theres never is a problem but she decides I can't come at midnight and I ask for my prescription back and she seems upset but hands it to me, but then i found out from another walgreens she put a refusal on my name and trying to fill oxycodone so any location of Walgreens I can't fill so I'm debating...

This place is absolutely ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned Walgreen's should do a complete pharmacy staff reboot here. Almost everyone there is COMPLETELY rude. If you walk up to the consultation counter when you should be going to the drop off counter (which really doesn't seem that different to me) they will snidely say "Down here!" or "You have to come down here!" sometimes without even looking at you, instead of politely walking down to meet you and redirecting you. I understand that it is clearly a busy location but even the head pharmacists are rude and VERY UNHELPFUL. Everyone seems stressed overworked irritated and annoyed with simple questions. They need to wake up. I know you have a lot of rules and regulations and stress to deal with, but in the end it's still a customer service job and everyone waiting can hear and see you dealing with...
