Urban Counter — Restaurant in St. Charles

This place is very affordable! Urban Counter has a big menu and they have huge selections of food. They have burgers, fries, meats, salads, beverages, desserts, and others. Their menu is phenomenal! All of their food is excellent! Made to perfection and literally will serve the food to you while it’s hot and fresh. They are really great at making and producing amazing snacks and sandwiches. You can really satisfy your cravings here because you can find anything delicious on their menu. Their prices are fair and reasonable. You can literally order all the food you want without reaching your pocket’s limit. They definitely have cheaper offers. I ordered their clubhouse sandwich, fries, salad, and a drink. I am really amazed by how they prepared it and all of it is really well-cooked. My cravings are satisfied. The sandwich is fresh, tasty, and has a big potion. The fries are flavorful and crunchy. The salad is unique and incredibly made. Also, their drink is very refreshing and perfect for any kind of their meal. Urban Counter is really great at making sandwiches! No wonder why a lot of people keep visiting and supporting them. They are really a gem and an amazing place! Their interior is very nice, they have lots of light, tables and chairs are perfectly aligned, and the vibe is retro. You can also tell that the interior was professionally done. Really impressive! This place is definitely worth a try! The staff and owner were friendly, attentive, and professional. They treat the customers so well and also they are always ready to give a hand to them. Very accommodating! I will surely be returning with my family and friends soon! Would love it if this place keeps up its good work so we can continue to dine and eat....

My husband and I came here for the first time today. There was three other families sitting down before us. After we ordered, we were informed the drink machine wasn't working and if we'd wanted to fill our cups which we PAID for, we'd have to go next door to the gas station and use their soda machine. During our wait the first family had still been waiting on their food, half of them had already been served. Which to make other half wait in my opinion was rude. Then when they'd received it, it was wrong. Twice! I got my food about 5 minutes before my husband; which was odd because we received our food before the couple who placed their order before us. When we received our cheese fries, that hadn't been cooked all the way. On top of that, when I cut my burger it was hardly cooked and moderately pink. So much so that my bun was red from absorbing the blood from the burger. I was so nauseous I sent it back for a refund. We definitely won't...

Blue cheese burgers are the best. They also have great barbecue sauce, which I like with my fries. The fries are not my favorite, primarily because they tend to be a little more on the soft side (not soggy, perhaps limp is a better word).

They have great beers on tap, but you can also walk inside to the liquor store next door and order additional great craft pints on tap. When I'm in the mood for a soda with a burger, they have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine to serve up an ice cold vanilla root beer. I have not tried their milkshakes, but those are supposed to be good as well.

Other than the craft beers, my favorite thing about this place is their use of flavorful sauces and relishes - homemade barbecue, homemade hot sauce, Korean glaze, bacon jam, pickled red onion, carmelized onions, and roasted jalapenos. Yum! The biggest challenge is deciding which flavors I'm in...
