Starbucks — Restaurant in St. Charles

I come here almost every day and spend a lot of money on coffee that they almost NEVER make correctly. My order isn’t complicated - iced coffee with light cream and extra caramel drizzle. I’m always respectful. And usually I don’t complain and drink it anyways even when they don’t make it right. But today, the way I was handed my coffee is unacceptable. I pay almost $6 for an ICED COFFEE. So I would assume that I would get what I pay for, but no. They didn’t even bother to stir the coffee with the cream and didn’t put any caramel drizzle in it. When I said something to the barista, he was rude and insisted that this is what I ordered. Idk what has happened to Starbucks, people used to be super friendly and go above and beyond, but now the opposite is true and they serve you with an attitude whether you deserve it or not.

My favorite Starbucks in the area. People here seem more attuned to relating to customers than employees at other local units; several others locally have employees who think they're the cool kids who are doing you a favor taking your order, and it's a real turn-off. Always clean. A major irritant is still Starbuck's decision to sell a significantly (IMO) inferior decaf brewed coffee, which either forces me to drink regular or go for more expensive drinks. This past Wednesday in afternoon I stop in here and I thought my card was working even my bank lied to me saying it was for some reason it wasn't. This young barista paid my meal even though I could've asked to hold my meal and drink to go to the bank. I love the customer satisfaction and putting your best foot forward.
